  1. I quite liked the very beginning of the first one with the camera drifting by the front wheel. Other than that, I thought the videos looked quite cool. And another one: http://www.youtube.com/user/lightandlogic#p/u/0/Hja955EntmU

  13. Some possibles, but I'm probably wrong.
  14. RANDOM THOUGHTS How can thaw and unthaw mean the same thing? If the saying "Ignorance is bliss" is true then how can "it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all" be true? It's all mind over matter. I don't mind and you don't matter. "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!" Hmmn. Don't even wanna think about that one. Refrigerate, does anyone frigerate? If you're travelling faster than the speed of sound, how can you hear? How can the word "read" be present, past and future tense? If you shoot a mime, should you use a silencer? Do fish dream? and if so, then of what? Were "the good old days" actually good? Or is it just our minds playing tricks on us? Reiterate.... once again who iterates? I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people who annoy me. If you were travelling at light speed and then you turned on a flashlight, would you be able to see it? Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable? If life is essentially energy and vibration then shouldn't we be able to feel and be everything? Do thoughts actually travel outside of your mind? Where do they go? Fire at Will. Who is Will and why is everyone trying to shoot him?
  15. Liking your car and those stock rims alot. Awesome build project, excellent job. Just out of curiosity, What size are those rims?, as I thought they only did them in 15 inch, where as the ones in the picture look like 17 inch? . Either way they suit the car very nicely.
  16. Just a thought, as some others have suggested, I'd probably check/ clean the main Throttle Butterfly Assembly (Throttle cable operated/connected to). As this can get clogged with dirty greasey oily film behind it which I think may affect the reaction of the throttle butterfly in relation to the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) sensitivity/ readings. I've had a throttle fault recorded indicating/ caused a TPS malfunction, which was cured after removing the throttle body cleaning the throttle body intake & butterfly with some carb cleaner and a medium (green)/ fine (grey) scotchbrite to remove the tar like residue.
  17. This company are woth a look http://www.pristinealloywheels.co.uk/ , I believe most OEM car dealers i.e. Toyota/ Lexus use this company for exchange refurbished wheels, a mate a work recently exchanged his SW20 MR2 dark grey Anniversary wheels & IS200 17" SE diamond cut finish wheels with them and they were quite good finish/ quality.
  18. The LS430 is a fairly reliable car but here are the things that I have known/ could go wrong on these: Height Sensors on Air suspension models, mainly the rear ones corrode/ sieze up, causing the rear of the car to jack itself right up. These are pricey part to replace but easy to change. Check for worn rear Air suspension dampers, this can make the car "wallow" or bounce when going over the slightest of bumps. This can be checked by pushing on the tailgate and seeing how quickly the damper recovers the spring rebound, it should be fairly firm. Airbag Shock Absorbers are £600 approx each from memory. Oxygen Sensors can fail, mainly the ones on the exhaust manifolds can go and can be very awkward to remove, especially if it pulls the thread out with it. The VSV for ACIS Valve & Tank assembly can malfunction, only noticed engine light on but no noticiable difference in driveablity. Again pricey part, and pricey to replace as the Intake manifold has to be removed as fitted beneath the intake manifold in the center of the V bank as is the Starter motor which can play up when starting hot. Front to rear Air Conditioning Pipes can corrode causing poor cooling from A/C, Mainly in the area around/ between the N/S/R Door/ wheel arch. Again very pricey part to replace/ have fitted, and a very awkward job to do as propshaft/ fuel tank etc have to be removed to replace. The electric Tilt & Telescopic Steering Column can give up/ seize, can be repaired as most are down to the screw threads on the motors running dry of grease. Headlamp Bulbs are the HID Gas discharge type, these can fail. This can be seen at night as the bulbs give off a red/ pink tinge/ hue on the beam pattern when they are on there way out. These can be £120 approx each from memory. Door window glass on very early LS430's used to delaminate/ go milky at the bottom of the glass. Front brake Pads and Discs tend to last 12-15,000 miles approx. Rear brake pads 25-30,000 miles approx. Check the Auto Wipers Function as can be faulty after being refitted incorrectly if a windscreen has been replaced and transparent Gel pad hasn't been replaced. Front tyres wear on the edges quite a bit which is normal especially if only used on short trips/ urban driving. The car itself if serviced correctly to Lexus service schedule can be very reliable/ alot of car for the money and the faults mentioned above are known but not ridiculously common like some other makes. Tis all I can think of from memory from working on these cars, not all woe not a bad car, just worth keeping in mind.
  19. Here is some pics I've seen with black supras with white wheels. http://http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=118069&d=1285881786 http://http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=118070&d=1285881786 http://http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=118071&d=1285881786 http://http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=118074&d=1285881812 http://http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=118072&d=1285881786 http://http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=118073&d=1285881786
