1. 96k at present, I've done around 4k in it in the 5 years I've owned it.
2. White 1993 Auto TT, no engine mods.
3. Nice to see new faces as well as the regulars. Another great meet, Cheers "KamaSupra" for organising the meet . I Liked the shiney new wheels, how supra. Nice to meet you "JamieP" and see your car in person. most impressed.(especially the exhaust note as you went bombing past me down to the pub.lol!) [/COOL] Glad "ZS1064" and "The Punisher" made it. loved the sound of the car and the white lettering on the tyres. [COOL] /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_cool.gif Nice to see "Silversoop" again. hope all goes well. You and KamaSupra cracked me up with your crazy "Chav lingo" impressions. I was really impressed with the cars and people that turned up and coupled with the exellent weather, Made my day, After the busy week I had a work lol!.
4. Just a thought. In the past on siezed stuff I've had, I've used some Engine Oil mixed with Diesel (50/50 mix) and soaked it overnight sometimes does the trick.
5. This maybe of help: http://www.turbosupras.com/pdfs/JZA80%20TSRM/SR.pdf Check out pages SR55 onward ref the PPS system, as IMO it may be something to do with that.
6. My Mates UK Supra tt had a similar issue from the front brakes which turned out to be a siezed/sticking caliper piston. He noticed the outer Brake Pad was very slightly loose when compared with the other Brake pads on the car and that one of the outer pair of pistons wasnt moving outward as should when the brake was applied. He got a caliper seal overhaul kit for his Uk Calipers which sorted the problem.
7. Just a thought. But I think it may be the climate control "Room temp sensor" which lives behind what looks like a tiny vent, in the trim panel on the left side to the steering column. It may be unplugged as noticed similar symptoms on a customers car at work to which caused the fault in Question. (But just a thought though, )
8. 1. KamaSupra (Maybe with top on this time) 2. Silversoop 3. GreaseMonkey 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
9. Good Meet. Nice to meet you all again. Roll- on next Ringwood meet .
10. I have the instructions for coding in these remotes. Only prob is that they are at work so can PM them to you if you like on Tues evening if ok?. If not, I'm sure someone else will be of help.
11. Yeah, looks good. Definatley still up for going now.
12. When ever I see these cars that have been abused like this (With stupid mods etc) makes me think "as a joke" there should be an Tv Ad campaign like the ones for the RSPCA etc. That go like, This J spec Skyline was repeatedly beaten/ abused with Spanners, Rattle cans and Helfrauds Motorsport graphics and Neons. After confiscation from its misguided owner and much re- hab this Skyline can drive another day. For only £2 a month you could sponsor an abused car like this. Together we can stop it!..... (or something along those lines "as a joke".)
13. Just hazarding a guess here but it could be a Pedal mod for Disabled people. Only saying this as worked on a car at work with same if not similar thing, as the customer only had one Leg. (or left Leg to be correct, and a false right Leg). The 2 Acceletrator pedals could be reversed either way (left side or right side of brake pedal) depending on who was driving by moving the opposite accelerator pedal up to bring the other down.
14. I'd be up for that. The 5th of may sounds good to me at the moment, unless otherwise?.
15. 1. KamaSupra (Hopefully with the top off) 2. Silversoop (Without my supe as it's gone) 3. GreaseMonkey 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
16. Here are some piccy's of my Marin Muirwoods and My Azonic/DDG Custom. (Managed to dig them both out of the depth's of my garage )
17. On the retro theme, Remember the disc covers that went on the rear wheel for aerodynamics. I remember one of my mate's Ralieghs having It lol!.
18. Nice one!. that rocks!!. Seeing that on the retro theme I'll think I'll dig my 93 Marin Muirwoods out from the depths of me garage (black frame with luminous yellow decals / rear tail). I tricked it out a bit as well (Club Roost Downhill bars/seat, Oddesy Beartrap Pedals Shimano STX /XTR Gears,Chainset / Rockshox front forks/ Tioga tyres etc . I'll try and take some piccys of it if poss?(to dig it out of garage that is lol!). Hope you find the missing components your looking for. Might be worth a look in mags like MBUK etc.. someone might have the bits your after. Glad you are enjoying your bike then.
