I had the same symptoms on my UK Spec after it had been in storage for 4 months, all I did to cure this was maintain the revs at 1,000rpm approx, for 15mins approx at least and then it Idled fine afterwards around 800rpm approx. Suspect it's the ECU Relearning the Idle control. hth;)

It appears so regards the illegal Exhaust noise, but like alot of legislation it's a matter of who can be bothered to enforce it/ or as and when they see fit, as on the following link https://www.gov.uk/noise-pollution-road-train-plane/vehicle-noise-limits Quote: Modified exhaust systems It’s illegal to modify the exhaust system to make a vehicle noisier after it has been ‘type approved’ (checked it meets environmental and safety standards).
