hi all, now my supra has been feelin really nervous on the road lately, its not a daliy drive so ive put it off for months and months. but today it was up on the ramp and my mates gave it the once over, checked for play in the front, got the pri-bar out etc, nothing on the front everythings solid. since i first bought this supra in summer 2011 it has never felt quite right on the road, sort of wanders i suppose but not really bad if you get where im coming from, just abit vague and its not giving me the feedback i want to be able to feel safe init. one of the things ive noticed is there are new bilstens on the front but its still got its 20 year old tokico toyota shocks on the back, but apart from that the only thing they found was my rear left toe arm looked dodgy only had minimal play but loads of corrostion coming out of the bush etc. and also my rear left tyre is toast now due to the toe arm i suspect. the right side of the car is fine. ive included some photos, what do you think? ive ordered a new arm £173 inc all new cam adjusters and bolts etc, also a replacement 275/35/18, brandnew bilstein rear shocks off chris wilson. then its a full alignment.
bush is looking a tad tired
these are the original jdm tokico shocks on back, the front shocks have been replaced with bilstiens by the previous owner, maybe 3-5 year ago, cars done very little mileage, so the front shocks are as new.
