CBT isn't really a test now is it, just basic training. You'd have to be a real hazard with no road sense at all to not be granted the certificate. I was discussing quads recently with a friend who owns a moto/quad outlet. Apparently its alot of fuss getting non road legal quads on the road. Best off just buying a R/L one and sticking some mad wheels on it.

The carpet dye came off on my trainers a little after that was done. That was sprayed on. You probably need to let it dry well or, as you said, wash them in at 40.

New LED for it? The garage that does the SVA puts the switches on when they come into the country. So its up to them which switch goes on. Any switch from an electronics place should do ie Maplin or maybe a motor factors?

Are you sure you have a folding mirror function? Sorry to seem odd but I thought it was a UK only thing.

If you're getting a click when you try to turn the car on then its the starter. You just need to whip it off and change the contacts, should be as good as new.

I wouldnt call it white smoke, more grey, but not enough to be black. I suspect it may be worn rings, need to get it compression tested. The injectors are brand new and the pump timing was done when I did the H/G so probably not that.

Did the headgasket but its still smoking. Re-lapped all the valves and put new stem seals on etc. The EGR valve looks quite bad so Ill do that tomorrow. Anyone else have any opinions?

Rear quarter is always going to be a tough one. Go through insurance to save yourself the hassle.

Lol cheers dude. For the price I paid I didn't need to think about it! Got the head off anyway and the gasket was Buffalo Joe'd. Also the end of the fast idle cable is broken, so Ill have to get a new one or new end.

I thought that Nic. Its says lowered, but man, thats really low! Must have been bodged to something like. I bet a close inspection would reveal all. Not even reliable for spares Id say.
