I dont think its a timing issue. It ran ok after the belt was changed but then this began all of a sudden. Could be EGR but I dont think it would smoke that much. Its more of a plume!

Its only just started doing this apparently and had the cambelt done recently. Ill probably pull the head off tomorrow, check the valves and gasket. Anything else I might need to look into? Its had new injectors recently also.

After my little Fezz blew its guts out over the M60 last night I decided I'd go on the hunt for a little workhorse. I've found a Berlingo 1.9 on a 2002 plate but it has a bit of a problem. Its blowing a fair amount of smoke through the exhaust which leads me to think its the head gasket? Its had alot of work on it recently but the guy wanted rid. There's no mayo on the oil filler cap. It starts and drives but with not much power and lots of smoke. Its with me now, towed it home. Any ideas? Luke

Did anyone here buy their car from new? Would be nice to see someone with a single owned car from new and they still have it to this day. Im sure I would have done it but funds are tight when you're 5

I have a full J Spec turbo setup for sale. I only just bought this but then went on to get Matts UK Specs. The turbos themselves are in very good condition indeed with very little shaft play at all. No cracks on the fins etc. All pipework is included as well as manifold etc. Any more information or pictures can be supplied. PMs preffered. Offers on this please. Regards, Luke

You could put a TT Nur on your NA. I think they come with earplugs these days.

Maybe give the publisher a call. They usually have numbers on the back of the box or booklet inside.

Get your list sorted here and then post an ad in the wanted section. Shipping will probably be an issue as these items will weigh a ton.

Personally I would have got it done all in one go. Waterpump, cambelt, idler, the works. Heck, while the cams were free Id have done the stem seals too. Its best to do things whilst its in pieces as apposed to removing, refitting, removing, refitting etc.

What metal are the shims? Just thinking if they would stick to the magnetic charge on the grinder as they look very stainless. Possibly just very shiney. How much is coming off them? I can see it taking a while!
