  1. Stuck offshore at the moment but have been advised that my BC coilovers have arrived. Originally I was set on looking into something like Nitron R1 but I can't justify them at the moment. I opted for the rubber top mount version. The Ridox skirts are going to be the Shine Auto versions as there were (I believe) supplier issues with Whifbitz' own offerings. I just hope they are here in time for paint!
  2. I've now received numerous pictures. They are attached to this post.
  3. A pal of mine does this. He uses a 106 Rallye. Loves it
  4. I need to get myself one of these - the car is quite low now and I struggle with a normal height jack (either needing the OE jack first or some blocks).
  5. As above. Sold unless Moo changes his mind
  6. The pictures I had up seem to have disappeared during the last forum update. I'll get a couple more when I'm back onshore. I have internet access while here though - so if anyone wishes to make me a (sensible) offer then please do!
  7. My pal still has this one available. I'm pressing him for some pictures if that'll help things along. If anyone is interested, you'd be more than welcome to make an offer - he won't be using it any time soon
  8. Hi Ricky and welcome along. Get some more pics up Is it a 5 speed or an auto at the moment?
  9. Sounds like now is the time bud Saves you in the long run if you were planning on a colour change towards the end of the year anyway! Will be good to see it all done and fresh though
  10. What exactly is the point? Am I missing something? Or is this solely meant to be for aesthetics? Because it looks horrific
  11. So, I never actually did look into this. Has anyone else experienced anything along these lines? Is it easy enough to replace the module? Or should I also look at changing the alarm system?
  12. Nice one bud - lovely Supra this one
  13. Next things I need to decide on are tyre sizes for front and rear. There is no chance that I'll fit the same tyres as before on due to the change in offset. Previous was: 18x10 +44 (with a 5mm spacer so +39) - 285/30/18 18x11.5 +50 - 315/30/18 I'm thinking that this time I'll go: 18x9.5 +24 - 245/35/18 18x11.5 +37 - 295/30/18 Hopefully that'll give me a good compromise and sit nice.
  14. Upon re-reading the original post - I agree with Dean here. Is the hike in power the sole reason for your intention to change clutch? Or do you dislike the RPS feel? If the latter, give the HKS a go Though make sure it isn't the HKS GD - they are horrible
  15. I really like my HKS LA Twin. It is reasonably light and has a sprung centre, so it feels somewhat normal Might be pushed a bit much at the power levels you are at though to be honest, but worth a word with Lee about it as well as he may have installed it in some cars of similar power figures with good results. http://www.hks-power.co.jp/en/product_db/power_train/db/10832
  16. Best of luck with it dude - I look forward to the pics Yeah, I've always had a worry that the flat lower section won't look right with the sweep of the lip, but I'm sure it'll be good! It's just difficult finding cars with Ridox skirts but not Ridox front bumpers to be able to imagine it! Haha absolutely - I was just having a crisis moment I think dude! I've fully come to my senses now so we're good! And the hair is here to stay as well!
  17. Toole Design Bodyshop in Fife, Alex. Their work seems to be pretty good so here's hoping Thanks for that Jason - I'll need to pop them a message and see what's what As for the UK rear, I should be sorted for that already About time huh? It's taken me as long to order them as its taking for you to fit yours Yeah, the Ridox skirts should be good as well. If I didn't have the Kansai lip I'd consider Top Secrets (I actually had some for a while) but the profile of the lip lends itself to the wavy skirt designs of OEM and Ridox, so they're probably the better option.
  18. I'm running a healthy powered single turbo on the A03B and it has been fine, for what it's worth
  19. As your car is a 1996, that was the crossover period between pre-facelift and facelift. There were 'discrepancies' in the specs which were made at this time. Some of the cars had visual variations as well such as pre-facelift lights but on an otherwise 'facelift' car. Some also had both the front bumper side markers and side markers on the wings! It may be as simple as that.
  20. The new CCWs are finally on order! Due to arrive mid May. Ended up going 18x11.5 +37 in the rear. They'll have a 4" lip. Should sit nice with the flare. 18x9.5 +24 front. I've also got the car booked in for a full respray at the start of June. It'll be staying 202 black. As in my above post, going round the car to find faults with the paint meant that I need to sort the wee bits out really to be totally happy. At the same time I'll also be getting the following done: Number plate holes filled Rear wiper delete Rear washer nozzle delete Aerial delete Front bumper trimmed (intercooler pipes make it bulge and caused paint cracks) While I'm at it, I'm going to fit a UK spec rear bumper and some Ridox skirts with the carbon lower section too.
  21. I used to have close to that rear size up front - 285/30/18 (18x10 ET44 with a 5mm spacer). Depending on the offset of your rear wheel, and your suspension setup, you'd likely need your rear arches rolled, flared or cut to avoid scrubbing with a 285/35 there. I had a 315/30/18 on an 18x11.5 ET50 at the rear and it was ok, but I have a flared arch.
