  1. Well, got to give it to CCW - they have been good and quick in getting things going! Customs charge paid ( ) and the wheels should be with me on Monday Today's jobs are to raise the car back up a bit, take the diffuser off and take the lip off in advance of going to the bodyshop on Saturday.
  2. I will be mate - I'll give them a quick clean up and take some pictures. As above, it is an HKS Kansai. I love it. I'm on the lookout for another as I don't know how long this one will last with the car being that bit lower (though I will be raising it slightly as I went too low!). Had an email from CCW yesterday to say that my LM5Ts have been completed and assembled so will be shipped today hopefully. Can't wait
  3. I wasn't meaning you pal, just in general! For how desirable and valuable they are alleged to be, I was surprised by the lack of interest.
  4. Apparently not as desirable as it would seem. I have a passenger side OEM Confetti for sale and have hardly gathered any interest at all!
  5. CCW LM5 or LM5T are nice (I have some LM5T on order just now). Not the cheapest option, but you can spec them to the millimetre Work Equips can be nice as well, though I don't know the specs of sizes offered.
  6. By the age of your car, it is quite likely that you had the A03B. That has a ratio of 3.266:1. The A02B has the same case, so you wouldn't need to change the driveshafts like you would if you changed to a big case (B03B) diff. The A02B has a ratio of 3.769:1 so you'd lose some top end per gear, but gain marginally in acceleration. The A01B from the pre-facelift SZ-R is 4.083:1.
  7. Geo had BMW Carbon Black. It had a blue flake through it so would look navy in direct sunlight. I'm getting my 202 black car resprayed in 2 weeks and I have decided against staying 202, instead I'll be changing ever so slightly and adding a red flake.
  8. I thought the plan was 272s? I just sold my VVTi HKS 264s - they'd have been spot on
  9. Got my BC coilovers fitted yesterday. While the car was up on the lift I got a look at the underside and I'm pretty happy with how it has handled the past few years here. Managed to get the Tein Super Streets off relatively easily. The rear 2 were off in under 10 minutes, the fronts took a little longer because I was stubborn and didn't want to remove any of the arms or crack and balljoints Success in the end. The BCs went on no bother. Nice and quick job all in. The lift definitely made everything easier though! I decided to drop the car a bit compared to where it was previously, though I feel like I'll need to raise it back up a bit as it is perhaps too low... (The 25mm spacer on the rear is just to give myself a better idea of where things are going to sit when the CCW LM5Ts arrive, though they'll poke out by another 13.4mm over this as they are 11.5" ET37 ) I'll get everything re-adjusted when the wheels arrive and get a decent alignment done. Ordered some R888s again for the new wheels. Went with 295/30/18 and 245/40/18 this time. I'm now currently deciding on what colour I actually want to paint the car. I have some ideas. It is obviously a good bit more expensive to stray away from 202 though!
  10. Well, I finally got myself a wee garage for keeping the car in when I'm not using it Took a couple of pics of my Recaro SR5 seats now that they are both in (though the orientation has went a bit mad ) It was a nice day today anyway, so I had the car back out of the garage and took a couple of pics as it stands just now before the imminent changes: First bit to do is the BC coilovers tomorrow. Though I'm a little nervous about the Kansai lip, as the outside of it sits quite low already, and I can't seem to source another should the worst happen! Paint is in 4 weeks time, which I am very excited about. I'm pretty set on just staying 202 black, but at the same time I keep thinking of having a green flake through a black instead. Though I don't know if I could deal with the potential 'touch-up' headaches that would accompany that!
  11. I have a passenger side one for sale just now
  12. The VVTi NA has thinner rods than the non-VVTi NA. The non-VVTi and VVTi turbo engines are no different to each other in that aspect though.
  13. Yeah Lee can get them for you. CCW also deal directly.
  14. This sounds good to me Alex. Just before I put the car away for paint too.
  15. Good strong turbos these - I have one myself. Keron, you wouldn't happen to have the downpipe from it (if it was 4")?
  16. It was already fitted when I had the car imported. It's great I'm a big fan - keeps things neat and prevents gauges being dotted about the place. Search for 'Defi DSSC' as that's what it is. About £2500 I believe.
  17. You don't need more, but it certainly makes it a lot of fun You won't see near 550bhp if just BPU though - hybrid turbos, ethanol/methanol, standalone ECU etc would be needed for that.
  18. Thanks Mike Not anymore - I've seen sense and ordered new CCWs and booked a respray instead Though for £28k I'd maybe listen haha!

    OEM Recaro rail

Ok so just a wee lever offset to the side and just a cable connection between the runners? If that is the case then the rail I have may be OEM, which will hopefully make it easier to sell the seat on. it's in excellent condition, so for being so allegedly sought after I'm surprised at the lack of interest
  20. Can someone please post a picture of one for me please? I have my OEM Confetti Recaro for sale and it has a rail, but I'm not sure whether it is the OEM rail or not as I don't know what I'm looking at.
  21. Ok well I'll get a look and we'll see what like then! I'm back somewhere between the 30th and the 7th of May so a couple of weekends yet!
  22. When I'm back on dry land I'll get a picture of mine for you bud. Just cover postage if it is in decent enough condition. Either that or if I'm down your way I'll swing by. (Assuming the requirement isn't urgent!)
