  1. Are the running costs really high for a supra compared to an S2000 then? I have a nice skyliner that runs on LPG if your interested.
  2. Don't have your patience. I see a car, I like it and buy it. Takes me bout a week. I do ask questions and get assistance where possible. Guess we are all different.
  3. sweet. glad the boy was ok after the fall.
  4. I seriously envy his ability to get women to shed clothes for artistic purposes. He probably has a prince albert though,

    Electric shavers

My advice is stick to foam and razor, since you're a foam and razor guy. Maybe she can get a special foam and a special razor for you to take back. I just think its sweet that your mum is going to this much trouble. Means more than a present you don't particularly want or need.
  6. From the pics only i'd say it would be £13k. Looks very much like mine but in silver instead of black. Mind you its had less engine mods than mine. Looks great though. We even have the same badges. VLS.
  7. Thanks Homer, I'll bear that in mind. Any one had the PLX DM100 installed with the AFR sensor module? Thought it would be good as I can set up warn zones, and I can focus on the road, and check out values later. Not sure if its as accurate as a traditional gauge though. http://www.plxdevices.com/products/dm100/ Wow, thanks. I'm in Watford. Where abouts are you? That would be great.
  8. Will look into it. Thanks very much TLicense
  9. Thanks Homer, thats kind of you, I know I have a double decat and a greddy racing exhaust but, even though I can solder, I would not be comfortable with Jacking car up and doing the work. Will look into getting some one to help , after I have purchased an AFR, and the fitting kit.
  10. Damn thats well explained. I get it now. what about the actualy unit? What manufacturers do you recommend? I will need to mount a gauge on a pillar right? Or have it mounted. What makes do people have on their cars here?
  11. Very useful. So an AFR gauge would not use an existing O2 sensor? In an AFR fitting kit, what's in the fitting kit part? How involved is it for a newb to fit? wow this reminds me of the old Open University programs with skinny bearded guys with massive glasses.
  12. what a waste. should have been more concept car/ futuristic looking.. eg supra MkV. not some old solid axel yank tank. but if its american then it should have been this: http://homepage.mac.com/atomicshark/08-CAMARO-FR-ATOMICSHARK.jpg

  15. Lets start with the bare basics. A ratio, is what exactly? And how does this apply to Air/ Fuel? Is it more dangerous to run more lean or more rich - why? What AFR gauges do you guys recommend, and how difficult is it to fit?
  16. Everything but the girl? Taking your Mrs with you I hope.
  17. brave man. I'd miss bbc news 24 too much to leave the UK.
  18. Never ever used my horn. Don't even know if it works.

    U.FO's

UFO's exist, but extra terrestrial intelligence coming to earth either to visit or for some other reason, is a fallacy. a weather balloon can be a ufo, until its identified, as well as special military test aircraft. I think people see them in times of stress, and becuase they are susceptible to *wanting * to see such things. They don't exist and have told friends that have seen them that they are mistaken.
  21. wow,.... one good looking supra.. bet those rears are the same size as my own. sorry lads, but i wont imitate him and crash it (touch wood).
  22. I like the response on the yorkpress website from a female solicitor. This one if you didn't read it: "What an informed and mature response. Wishing crashes (and no doubt injuries and death) on drivers who (of course) are all idiots purely because they drive modified vehicles. I drive a modified vehicle and I'm a female solicitor in my 30's -obviously an "idiot". People have accidents for all kinds of reasons and I hope that if you have one people aren't as quick to judge you in the same harsh manner you've just done others. I'm a great believer in "what goes around comes around..." "
  23. that a household light bulb in the front headlight?
