  1. Thanks Homer, thats an excellent point, had not considered that. The steering wheel is a certain size for a reason. Might as well keep it. As for the rear wheels, maybe one day I will change them. But your right, theres little point in changing the wheel when it is a certain diameter for a very valid reason. Thanks for the reality check.
  2. How annoying to the extreme. Heavy's not a good idea. Heavy legal (local solicitor) very good idea.

i'd say 4-5 miles is too long to walk for you , specially if your not used to it, go on ebay and look at some pedal bikes. something there might take you're fancy. If those short trips involve stop-starting, like at lights or to give way, then that's thats going to reduce mpg.
  4. Ok. Maybe it's small enough already. But you know those wierd shaped MOMO ones? maybe their are just the same size, or look smaller becuase they are no longer round. like this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Momo-Steering-wheel-with-Horn-push_W0QQitemZ290188188965QQihZ019QQcategoryZ40195QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  5. Does it just accept all generic wheels? or is there a fit I should look out for. But am thinking about a MOMO one becuase I just prefer something smaller and not round, if you know what I mean. Any suggestions? BTW, had a soft spot for wooden wheels, but not sure I'd get one for the supra. Carl
  6. its a great supra. someone liberate it. buy it now, and paint it black, and change the dash color. failing that it would still make a good christmas cracker.
  7. yeah the US imageshack servers are slow. I got glass headlights now, so I'll clean the other and sell them off... possibly should have done this before.. ah the benefit of hindsight.
  8. cleaned one of them. took me a while, but I think its worth it.
  9. Spot the difference. http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/9848/10122007457bw7.jpg
  10. One of them has misted up on the inside. It is raining and its cold at the moment, and I wasn't able to fit the fog light bulb holder properly two days back- it was too dark, so the light unit has been not sealed to the engine bay, and I guess the elements, which is why i think its misted up. The other one is fine. Should I drive the car at night tonight without waiting for the mist to disappear? How do I get it to disappear, undo the fog light bulb holder again, and wait for more dry days? or leave the unit sealed? I know its a small thing, but I'm still worried about it.
  11. nice looking car. i'd say 5k
  12. do it but be very very careful. if you have very wide tyres then forget it. My old Mkii used to have a very hard job in the snow.
  13. wow. sounds like petrol addiction, join the club. ..maybe you should take flying lessons...I'm serious.
  14. they still have charm. I owned two of them before :-)
  15. I see, yes I think he did fit it mate, though not 100% sure. And I'm guessing he didnt remap becuase he didnt have ROM editors/fluent japanese/the relevant skills. So it *is* remappable if you have the right gear (which is seems more likely in Japan)
  16. No AFR fitted mate. I don't know how much they cost to fit, and what I would be looking for on the dial anyway.
  17. You must be very proud of all that man.
  18. So to confirm then: my TOMS ecu is plug and play, and not mapped to the car? or is it just not remappable? BTW it was fitted in this country. all the engine mods were done here, cosmetics in Japland.
  19. sweet man. good luck with that :-)
  20. I really doubt that. Khan has a career, and bit by bit he will show his detractors what he is about. He has so many fights ahead of him, this may have *looked * rigged becuase of the ease, and quickness of the KO. But so much hard training and skill goes into his technique. Carl
  21. respect to the people that put money on hatton. I listed to the fight on FIVE LIVE, it was suprisingly involving. was even shadow boxing while i listened to better imagine the fight.
  22. your right he needs practice with the mex guy, but i hope you eat your words.
  23. if only hatton had was mayweathers size. Was pleased to hear that mayweather was respecting hatton at the end. two legends.
  24. Thats set that straight then, thanks tDR. since the car was mapped to be safe at 1.3 bar, I'll just see how it goes. Might invest in a AFR though, but normally im running 1.1 on it all the time. Many thanks for your input and advice. Carl
