  1. i have a friendly mot place and a first and second cat sat in the shed, so if you want them im prepared to part for ££.
  2. but if you are just taking the engine out of the auto TT and dropping it in the na.. i dont quite understand why you are swapping ecu's at all!
  3. unless im missing something here, the manual ecu wont work with the auto box, but surely you have just swapped the TT engine and kept the 6 speed box in place? if not you are mad! auto ecu will work with a manual box manual ecu will not work with autobox
  4. On if its just the spats I'm not interested I'm afraid! Thought you wanted front and rear bumper etc, sorry!
  5. id swap my oem for this, however like yours would also need a respray to make perfect as there are marks etc.
  6. id say 0 chance. don't worry about that. whifbitz will find the cause, just make sure you have had a good look yourself before spending all that money getting it towed, could be something really simple.
  7. Request! I myself am pretty clueless to wheel and tyre sizes with regards to offset etc, and i know im not alone. "will these offsets fit my stock arches" "will this size fit" is seen quite often on the forum. So perhaps a guide to what wheels you have, and tyres offset etc would be a good idea, save people answering time and time again, and people like myself scratching our heads! So if you feel you can help please fill in and copy and paste below. Feel free to include any information you feel relevant, such as do they clear UK brakes or upgraded brakes, and photos .. everyone likes a photo! Wheel make: Wheel size: Wheel Width Front: Rear: Offsets Front: Rear: Stock arches: Over fenders: Wide body: Tyre size Front: Rear:
  8. Would be handy only the other day I posted a similar query.. Didn't really get anywhere tbh!
  9. You realise they are 15" wheels right? Or am I not seeing something?
  10. cheers al, Any chance you know how much wider the trd kit is? if at somepoint you get a chance to check the offsets that would be awesome. im looking at running a 11" rear on an ET8 and a 9.5" ET10 on the front. i know i have no hope what so ever in fitting under stock arches, however im trying to gauge if overfenders will do the job or if its still not going to be enough!
  11. Well I know the offsets of the wheels I want. Just wanted to know what other peoples size are and how they fill them etc.
  12. Hi all, one for the guys with overfenders / arch extensions. What wheel size, width and offsets do you run? and also what size tyres? im just trying to gauge what to do with my car i have been driving it for the last year and it has now come to the time where i fancy making some changes. car is currently stock bodied but im tempted into over fender territory because of some wheels i really like the look of.
  13. ill make you one like mine for £100
  14. insanity workout - £2.50 a pint night tonight at the local! now that's my kind of workout!
  15. was that regards to what he said about 9.5 all round with an et10? what arches do you have? was thinking 11 et8 rear and 9.5 et 10 front with arch extensions .. but a bit worried. these ones not the xt 206 ones!
  16. bit of a thread revival! i assume you gave up on these! been contemplating the xt-006 ones and some arch extensions, but unsure even with over fenders that a 11" et 8 wheel will fit without fouling something.. can any one give any advice who has over fenders and wide wheels.
  17. will probably redo it and use some memory foam to smooth everything a bit more.
  18. i used a thin sheet of ply and cut it to shape, bolted it in and carpeted it.. looks fine. (think i got the dimensions from either here or supraforums)
  19. Question you need to ask. When / if it all goes wrong and you knacker your engine.. Can you afford to replace it. If you can go for it, but if you could afford it why not spend the extra on a reputable kit and save yourself the hassel
  20. If I had an old ge laying around I'd buy one just to see how long it lasted. That price is absurd.
  21. Depends who sprays it .. Won't find many 20 year old cars that hav actually been driven regularly and have concourse paint.. And we all know not driving a car is detrimental to all sorts of things.
  22. lol 7k for a n/a .. if these actually sell at this price id put my TT up for sale then come back here and buy a decent single with spare cash in my pocket! just seen its auto as well, someones dreaming.
  23. i assume if you have a boost controller you also have a boost gauge? so you will see if you are in positive boost before 4000 rpm... if not well you probably should get one in order to monitor what the boost is doing.. however you will hear the first turbo come on at 1800 revs, mine whistle like hell.. if you cant hear your turbo before 4000rpm i would say its either in TTC mode or something is wrong. i will have a look at my pipework tomorrow and see if i can help you out a bit further.
