  1. Same question, same answers.
  2. And when you change your mind about the running gear ill take the w58 parts off your hands
  3. Pics of car are in my gallery, if serious i can take more. Lowest i would go would be 6k due to spending more than that on the engine work. Would include a spare set of 17's, fmic kit, walbro fuel pump, spare diff and a box of spares
  4. Im in devon with a TT auto, more than welcome to come for a ride can drive it also if you wanted with relevant insurance and on a you break you buy agreement

  6. would be tempted to sell mine, it needs work however, pm if you are interested.

    NA-T vs TT

I loved my Na, granted i wouldnt entertain the idea of a auto na, but manual .. it a fun car that is quick enough (especially for someone young with no rwd experience) that being said my TT is no animal wanting to put me in the bushes every time i boot it. My 50p. if you want a quick car that is nice to drive get a TT. if you want something that looks great is cheap to run and fairly fun to drive get a na 5 (just dont expect not to get embarrassed by clio's and and type R's)

    NA-T vs TT

Performance direct £114 a year for my Jspec TT. Classic policy with limited mileage. Not sure if its 21 or 25 to get classic insurance however.
  10. easy way to check have car in D at about 30 or whenever you car sits happily at about 1500 rpm.. press it and take the car up to about 2500rpm, let off the power if the revs drop its not working if they stay where they are as if in a manual car, its working.
  11. ive had both manual and auto supra's .. both have positives and negatives, i had another cat back on this but it was to loud with an auto, this is lovely and quiet until you boot it.
  12. O_o far to much "whoooshing" ... marmite like i said.. its just the exhaust.. for some reason it does it.
  13. we don't worry about things like that down in devon
  14. bunged it on youtube. should work now!
  15. dunno but if you do end up breaking hit me up as im just down the road and would probably want a few bits
  16. Hope this works, never posted a video before. Anyone have any ideas why my nur spec R sounds like this.. i think it might be marmite but i personally love it, really quiet on tickover and usual driving then really screams when you hit boost. I figure it may be because the resonator has been slightly flattened on the bottom due to the way the exhaust hangs low.. or maybe baffles are shot. TT Semi bpu (1 bar) - at this time i was in TTC mode testing sequential operation as second turbo wasn't coming online till a bit after 4200 rpm in sequential. All sorted now but this was an accidental video my mrs took and kind of showcases the sound it makes pretty well.
  17. No offense meant but that is fairly silly in my opinion .. 26k is not a lot as engines go.. but still plenty to build up muck if you actually use the car as a car and don't pamper it like a princess.
  18. clothes wise. car salesmen wear suits, doesn't mean you should trust them! .. either way yes N/A T at the moment will add value. In ten years i suspect not when standard N/A and TT are few and far between.
  19. i considered the one they have for sale on driftworks for a while when i had my old red bomex kitted supe, never seen one on a sup however. What put me off was i had white Rota GTR's on it and one of my mates said "It would look like an giant remote control car with a bgw" ..
  20. Welcome! only thing i have to say is if you get a TT even if you are conservative with the loud pedal don't expect decent mpg. I use mine as a daily during the summer on a 24 mile a day round trip and apart from once or twice a week giving it a blip im very conservative .. still costs me £200 - £250 a month in fuel. a badly set up mini is going to be non comparable in my oppinion! just a heads up!
  21. yeah its a high mileage engine, runs sweet but still 150,000 miles on original turbo is never great! id be wanting to sling my 2jz gte in anyway
  22. my mate has his old one for sale, failed mot on welding wants £1100 for it .. im so very tempted
  23. Not to everyone's taste im sure but in my opinion this looks pretty incredible! http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/04/a-new-beginning-for-rocket-bunny/
  24. Anyone running these and have pics? Quite tempted to get some!
