To be fair, I may have some sway against that 599 as there is a guy who owns one who drives through the city of london every friday about 5:30-5:45 sharp, which I see when I wait for my mate. He smokes a big fat cigar in it with the windows shut. I dont know if its envy/or anger at him and the car because he is smoking a fat cigar in such an expensive car with a v.smug look on his face. lol

599 like the r35 is missing the wow factor. They are not ugly cars. If I was to spend as much as these cars command in price I'd expect a jaw dropping reaction the first time I see it. When I first saw a diablo/testarossa/rx7/supra/xj220 all those cars made my jaw drop. These dont.

agreed. Not seen a decent looking supercar for years. Only the r8 'just' about does it for me. I think Ferrari lost the plot after the 360.

Still debating its ugliness factor. Its certainly not the prettiest sports car to come out of japan for some time. Lets be honest here and assume the latest facelift supercars from japan had never been released from the last 10 years. Now if a facelift supra came out now, it would look a ton better than the new GTR If a facelift rx7 came out now, it would look way better than the new gtr If a facelift nsx came out now, it would look better than the new gtr. Admittedly skylines have never been super slick looking machines - I recall them being called 'buses' by members of the mazda rotary club - I still just think its missing the wow factor, at least in looks. I'll have to wait until I see it in the flesh I suppose.

pity lambo dropped them. Always made the lambo look the bit extra special. Was v.disappointed when I got in a gallardo and the doors didn't open upwards.

that's the same blue veilside one I was referring to. I think it was owned by a James_something He drives something unspectacular as a runaround like a 306 or something.

My advice and it worked for me when selling my rx7 is put email address only. This will filter out tons of pointless phone calls. If they are serious they will definitely go out of their way to contact you. Saves a lot of time and you don't get private numbers and all that crap.

big blue for me without a doubt is my all time favourite for now. But thats in my opinion. But some of the other best looking supra's I have seen are; Mr Ralphman - so little done exterior wise but it just works Burna - for same reason Gaz1 - Very nice modern looking supe Supragold - a supe which stands out by a mile Lui's - too unique to go into Jamie P's - not seen in flesh but looks great in pics Paul Whiffin's big power supe (for power alone its a beast) Lastly whoever had that storm blue veilside supe which has recently been sold and that black supe with c west light covers with blitz wheels (forgotten who owns it). Sure there are others like do luck supe, but these are the ones I like best.

really? I always imagined veilside and do luck etc. had massive warehouses. Thats incredible if you think such a small industrial unit can cater so for so many models and have such an impact on the tuning world in terms of notoriety.
