  1. hmmm a noble - now that is nice. Apparently terrible build quality though. I'd go for a dodge viper if you want to show off.
  2. By the way, just so I understand you correctly. You are planning on still keeping the supe and potentially having a porsche as well? If so..why??
  3. Are Porsches that cheap to insure?!? Why are jap turbo cars so expensive:(
  4. None of the above, but if you MUST choose one of those I'd have to go witih a porsche as much as I dont like them. The rest just makes no sense in terms of practicality and aren't good looking or exotic enough in my opinion to justify the running costs.
  5. very nice car. Ticks all my boxes, which is rare!
  6. sorry to hear - very annoying.
  7. be VERY careful about paying it off all at once. I have been stung in the past about this. Fine if you envisage keeping the supe the full year. Many insurance companies have a sly clause whereby if you cancel 7 months in you are only entitled to 5-20% of your money back. Yes you read that correctly. They caught me out when I realised how much a rx7 is to run and sold it after 7 months and they didn't want to pay me anymore than £120 of my £1500 policy.
  8. pm me a price for this trial rear bumper fitting. I could swing down sometime to have a fitting depending on price.
  9. 1) supra_aero (finished trimmed) Be nice if someone competent was offering a fitting service. I don't mind paying him/her the extra to ensure its done top notch.
  10. I thought my advice was quite polite actually.. and my name isn't andy
  11. to be fair, when I first bought a turbo car I had no idea either. This is a question best asked face to face than on a forum. Go to a supra meet and ask about is my advice.
  12. I think mine might be leaking the same. Very very few drops. Wonder what it is. Watching this thread intently as well.
  13. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7482551.stm Wonder how many of us have a good story when we were out of it. Not done anything like that though.
  14. I would have given it to him, afterall you know where he lives. Amazed someone who lives in your postcode needs a tenner from a neighbour though!

    New NSX

Apologies if a repost though dont think it is. http://cars.uk.msn.com/News/car_news_article.aspx?cp-documentid=8752860 Not great to look at imo, though hard to see the lines in those pics. I guess I'll have to rest my hopes on the new rx7 for a decent looking jap supercar. Maybe I am just too fussy
  16. I would say that if you want attention no jap car in my experience gets anywhere near the amount of attention a rx7 gets. One of the reasons I sold mine believe it or not.
  17. great to drive, v. impractical when lowered (dependant on bodykit) and expensive to maintain. Drinks ridiculous amounts of petrol. Headlights like the supra are poor for driving at night. That one has a mazdaspeed vers. A bumper (correct me if i am wrong) so you might be ok with it. I found stock seats v.uncomfortable after 40 mins+ of driving. Handle well, not as well as supe in my opinion. Stunning acceleration and relatively easy to get 360bhp out of. O and its VERY loud after a decat. VERY.
  18. was going to suggest that. I always thought a rx8 was a vastly inferior rx7 (yes rx8 has 4 seats but they aren't a world better than a rx7 to be honest) But rx7 running costs are extortionate, thus I wouldn't suggest it. thats insurance/petrol/repairs and maintenance etc.
  19. very average stereo system if i recall, but snazzy interior
  20. xj220 is one of most beautiful cars ever built. truly beautiful
  21. wifi on a tv?!?! thats impressive!
  22. on the topic of bad films I always remember a line my best mate told me after seeing the film 'Doom'. I asked - "so how was it" He said - "it was so bad I deleted it"
