dont these smash the exhaust blades of tubbies? i understand thats why toyota opted for a fuel cut rev limiter as opposed to a ignition cut? especially as the j-spec tubbies are ceramic aswell. just some thing to bare in mind;) EDIT: too slow

i have also had the HKS pannel filter and after reading about its filter in quality did the "grease test" after almost 700 miles the grease was still crap free and rubbing the grease through the fingers could not feel and crap, however i am not willing to bet the engine against the 50+ members that have tried and found it to be crap sooo...... i have a the stock box and feeds with a k&n filter and the stock filter for the quieter option:)

how many after market bonnets was made in ally? i cant think of any. i would guess at custom also:D

i did mine last night, i think mine was loose on 3 of the wires i just went over every joint one by one, the cluster now works like a charm found a couple of unused bulbs in it as well, they are now elsewhere in the dash:D

what boost level are you running? what are your plugs like? these usually show signs of dett before you can tell what pugs do you have in there? have you tried to pull the error codes, i am 100% sure the ecu would log it it logs every thing else lol:D Click Here you can have 2 identical engine one will dett and the other wont, every engine is different the only way to know it so have it checked by a pro, if it is dett it has to be fixed anyway, i understand the 2jz can put up with dett longer than most engines but it will still break EDIT:
