Been talking to the NH Hotel group, same people that we stayed with in Rotterdam. Just trying to work something out with them for a hotel in Brussels. Anybody else know of good hotels in brussels with space for 50 cars? NH are struggling a touch with their city centre one, but the airport hotel might fit us in.

Might be up for this if I can free up that day. Let me know if you need me to get in touch with my contact at Pod for an area. We could make this ChillyPod and have a party at the hotel on the Saturday night!!

Had the front disks changed and new pads all round yesterday and I'm finding the brake pedal is extremely soft. If I pump it once then it feels right but then goes back to how it was. It sounds like it is air in the system, but it was done by a proper garage and surely they would have bled the system properly? Anything I can do without taking it back to the garage to get them to bleed it again?

Nope. I have to see what Santa Pod offer for Suprapod first. Should be around 16th, 17th and 18th May if nothing else gets in the way, and might be Belgium and Spa but again thats not set in stone.

1.2bar really makes the car something special, I would run it at 1bar for a while and make sure the car likes it, then up the boost to 1.2bar. BUT, I would get Racelogic fitted, the transition at 3000rpm is brutal at 1.2bar and the rear end will come round on you. So just for little old me, can you get Racelogic put on as I know if you killed the Supra you would go Porsche.

Just working out hotels and routes for this folks. Friday 4th would simply be a drive up to the hotel for those who live far away, Saturday 5th would be the driving day ending up at a hotel for the evening and then Sunday 6th everybody drives back home.

Im planning on picking this up on Monday and working out the hotels. Might need a local to give some guidelines on whats safe and whats not south of Glasgow. Might still bump the route round a bit and do Glasgow to south of Edinburgh, but having left time short I may not have time.

I think they said it best in WWII, Oversexed, overpaid and over here. It is great to have you on the forum. Ellis explained about the coin you gave him at DB13 and that shows how much the club means to you so I hope you stick around even when they ship you out again. Hope you can make DB14.

I renewed with Sky again, renewal was quite reasonable so I'm with them for another year.

Was it ever suggested that people bring along their RC cars in case there is a spare bit of car park to run them on? Not sure if there will be space but I might try and have one of mine with me.

Looks like I will actually be at this one folks, which is great. I do have to remind you all that we need best behaviour on the way there and at the Museum itself. Burnouts and bouncing off the rev limiter is strictly not allowed. We have Toyota at the event with us for the first time EVER. We need to show them we are a sensible club and any events they do with us will show their brand in a good light. We can all have fun but lets save the shenanigans for another day. It was very windy and cold and I think it rained, which all makes the evening a bit less fun when standing around at the London Eye. I will organise this for a few weeks time though so dont panic folks.

I dont think it is, weather here is looking very overcast, and infact has just started raining. Quite windy too. few weeks time and I will arrange it properly.

oooh, the weather looks shocking. Supposed to be heavy rain and strong winds. Would have been nice on a summers evening, but as we dont seem to have hit summer yet I think it will have to be another weekend. Perhaps in a few weeks time and I will have time to do routes properly. So based on the weather I think we call this off.

Bit last minute but anybody fancy a meet up tomorrow (Saturday 22nd June) evening for a drive in to london to see the sights? More than likely start at 7Hotel Diner at Junction 4 of the M25, through the dartford tunnel, along the A13 in to central london, round parliament square and then over to the London Eye for a bit. Then over the Strand, down to trafalgar square and leicester square and then stop up on embankment again. Meet at 9pm at 7Hotel Diner for a bite to eat, then leave at 10pm to get through teh tunnel for free!! need to see at least 5 definite names down for this otherwise its just a couple of cars getting lost in London!! Who's up for it?

It was available on the Vertex/GS300 with the twin turbo engine, so in theory you could take all the gubbins from that and fit it. The facelifts use true flybywire throttle so I dont believe it needs a secondary throttle cable, but after that its all a bit unknown. Now, if you can find a way to make it work I would be most interested as I love cruise (especially when managing the convoys, does anybody notice I cant keep a steady speed..). So if you can make it work then do shout!!

On the roads to Bruges from Rotterdam I saw a few cars come very close to losing it over the bumpy bits, so it might be a risk. I will see what the roads look like on google street view and then make a call. I have Reims as a backup if Spa looks too tricky.

I disagree, its like taking a 5 year old to Disneyland Paris rather than Disneyworld, but then you can make it to Disneyland and back without taking a one week holiday! So before I carry on with the organising, does anybody local want to pick this up? As I have said before, these take quite a bit of my time to organise so I would happily step back and let somebody local do it. Oh, and a couple of views from the route I have mapped out
