After 6+ years of ownership you will be disappointed to know I'm finally removing the very desirably veilside skirts and fitting the stock pods, sill trim and arch trim. Problem is I'm missing some of the clips so ideally I need an exploded diagram with part numbers and any advice of fitting would also help. Thanks

Is it worth taking it off to try and clean or just source another? Actually I have one from a mazda that's plug and play so il give that ago also!

It's getting quite annoying now.. Anyone have any ideas? Is it common for a tps to stick? I can't hear anything from outside, the only other info I can give is the idle hunts ever so slightly? Warm its @ 900rpm Maybe time to get it in a garage, I just wish I knew somewhere local who knows there stuff around supra's!

So I have another thread going for a knock noise I'm getting but Iv recently picked up on something else, it might not be related but any info I can get might help me identify what this worrying noise is and hopefully fix my jerky throttle response? So here's a short video unfortunately the knock can't be heard but what you can see is as I'm very gently raising the rpm to 1k the needle suddenly jumps a couple of hundred rpm? May or May not be linked but certainly doesn't help with cruising and causes a jerky acceleration but only at take off?? I think we are all in agreement the veilside skirts need to be burned! Just to show what I had to go through to get it to this stage here's a before picture! Poor thing!

Do agree they are vile! You would have loved it when I first bought the car, veilside sick all over it! Nice car! I'm coming round to the oem skirts, I'm now down to two options: tottaly stock or swap the side pods for some oem side skirts or previously fitted aftermarket side skirts? Decisions Decisions?? What does a good set sell for? Your not wrong, I might keep hold of the stock pods and trim, they could be a nice investment I do like the do lucks, less subtle but they could potentially be a nightmare to fit? Lol p*** off it nearly lost me my job taking a 1.5 hour detour to pick them up! Although could be tempted with a swap??

I need some help or inspiration (pictures) I have in my posesion stock side pods and trim and some copy do-luck skirts and can't for the life of me make a decision which to fit? I currently have veilside skirts fitted now I know there marmite but one day I like them the next I'm thinking of ripping them off but I can never bring myself to do it? Veilside - less work Do-luck - possibly a lot of work (fitment issues?) Stock - I'd like to keep the rear spats I have but don't know how it would look?

Just going to echo what dazzi said, get a better wastegate! I'm talking from experience, I wasted money on mapping twice trying to use the hks copy wg even though It was cracking open at the right psi when I pressure tested it. I ended up getting precision pw46 and never looked back, best thing I ever bought!

Good call, it's been a while since I last checked the crank pulley and I know the gearbox mount rubbers are not the best!

Engine mount was my first thought but I haven't noticed any vibration other than last week I though i could feel a bit through the gear stick but put it down to the road? Any tests I can do to rule this out!

I'm struggling to locate a knock sound, I can only hear it inside the car and it sounds like its from under the passenger foot well? I can make it knock by tapping the accelerator peddle just enough for the rpm to raise a bit, but it doesn't seem to be there while driving. Any ideas guys hopefully someone else has experienced this?

I'm having no luck from my wanted thread so possibly be looking at getting a new one from the stealers can anyone provide me with a part number and even better a price? This is what I'm after: Sits inside the manifold behind the idle control valve. I think I damaged mine stupidly with compressed air while cleaning it?? I blew a bit too close to the orange bit and it came away around the edge. I'm not entirely sure if it's damaged but im having a slight issue with idle hunting very slightly and want to rule it out!

Update: had the amazing lyndon aka Nodalmighty map my car yesterday after installing rx7 550cc injectors and changing the wastegate spring to a 6psi one, I'm now running 7.5psi. I couldn't be more happier, lyndon did a superb job and also fixed my cold start issue! Can't thank him enough!! Now its dyno time Anymore na-t updates?
