Where did you get your bonnet lifters from bud?

It's been bugging me lately that the shade of red that I had my Auto gearknob flocked in isn't quite the same as my Momo wheel and the fact that I couldn't carry over my Quaife gearknob as I'd intended from my previous track project had convinced me it was time for a change. I took the lever off and had a gander at what could be done and to my surprise, it was easy as pie to swap over the gearknobs. I simply removed the plastic that previously helped the auto-box to select gear and then bolted the gearknob straight onto the threaded bolt. Not only does it look much better, but it still works exactly as Toyota intended with a push down operation to select gear instead of the button press. Overdrive has also been moved to a dash mounted switch too, so all in all, a right result!

Thought so, haven't got the original plate! Might just bung it on a switch, unless super Gaz has a different answer

Hi guys, I fitted a new Momo steering wheel a few months back, but never went through hours of wracking my brains to get the horn push to work. Has anyone got any idea how this can be wired in without the wires twisting themselves into a frenzy and eventually snapping? Usually you'd be able to feed them inside the column and steering week, but the Supra is solid so it's a bit of a no go area. Great minds are needed to solve this problem. Please help me! Matt

I've been having an intermittent problem with the Supra starting and decided to swap over the starter motor to a spare I got free when I bought the car, trouble is, it wasn't the problem. I've since tracked it down to the crappy Toyota electrical system that doesn't allow enough power to turn the starter all the time (voltage drop). I can override the relay under the bonnet at any time by bridging terminals, but I will be doing the relay mod that is popular more with the mk3s to allow a boost in power to sort the problem once and for all. Everything else is pretty sweet!
