  1. Love your car James, really understated yet bootiful!
  2. Even though I'm blooming miles away, I've always fancied attending an Ace Cafe night. Will be keeping an eye out for dates! Matt
  3. Shame, the V8 was the other viable option, 1JZ transplant probs should have been included too come to think of it!
  4. Desperately in need of a two wire coolant plug for a TT Supra, Has anyone got one lying around I could buy? It's the plug with some wire on it I need, not the sensor! Matt
  5. Out of interest what are the specs of these? I have the same HREs on my Supra, but sadly they don't look half as good as these! Looking to get mine re-dished.
  6. I think we'll leave it until the mag feature comes out as I don't want to start a willy waving war on here!
  7. Hey guys, We've finally sorted a date and selected the cars to take place in our mag feature. We've chosen 6 different TT alternatives and will be shooting the feature on December 11th. We will keep you informed when it will be appearing in the magazine and give you plenty of opportunity to pop out and buy a few copies Thanks for anyone who offered their car for use in the feature. Matt
  8. Better as it is mate I think, just personal preference though!
  9. Great news, it's not so much a single feature as a group shoot! We're looking at alternatives to the factory TT and the V8 is obviously one of them. Can you get to Bruntingthorpe, get time off work etc. We will hopefully be announcing a date next week! Matt
  10. Cheers Scott, It was a gimme anyway mate, we want you to come along! I'll let you know as soon as we have a definite date so you can work out a day off/excuse for work! Haha! Matt
  11. Pretty sure it's going to be before Christmas Delboy, but it's yet to be confirmed! Cheers for the reply though mate Matt
  12. Doesn't sound like a 'budget' option though haha!
  13. Hi Guys, I'm sure you've come across our previous thread regarding the JP Magazine Supra feature, where we're looking to compare the differences and alternatives to the factory Twin Turbo Supra. Problem is, I haven't had any replies regarding V8 converted Sups and it would be great to get one on board for the feature. If anyone has or knows of anyone that has carried out the conversion and wants to grab a little magazine fame, then please get in touch and we'll see what we can do. Cheers guys, Matt
  14. I've already got a standard twin turbo in mind fella, but thanks for asking! Matt
  15. Not really what we're looking for for this feature Neil, but it would be great to do a side by side comparison of the two in the future maybe. We really just want to show that the factory TT may not be the only top dog out there nowadays and with so many options to choose from you can have a Supra with the pace and power of a TT for a lot less money than you'd expect.
  16. This is a budget feature John, I'm pretty sure that yours wasn't 'built on a relatively small budget' haha! Cheers for the picture whoring though mate! Matt
  17. Hi guys, To pick up where Scott left off, I'll introduce myself. My name's Matt Shaw and I work for Japanese Performance Magazine and will be writing and compiling our little jamboree at Bruntingthorpe. We're looking to get it organised and shot before Christmas, so please let everyone who may have something suitable know and it'll give us a greater range of cars to pick from. Massive thanks to all the owners who have already put their cars up on this thread, we're looking to make a choice in the very near future. One thing which Scott didn't mention, which I think would be great to include for the sake of a bit of variety, is a V8 conversion. This will then make the line-up NA, NA-T, NA-S, NA-TT(if we have one here), TT BPU and V8. If we can find a good example of each of these with something to offer up against a factory TT, that would be perfect. This is not a feature about cheque book cars that have been built with a shed load of money and a shopping list, so we would like to see attainable cars that put out healthy power figures on a relatively low budget, yet still stick it up the factory TT.
