  1. Just so you guys know, that isn't the wheel hub... it's the brake disc hub. No issues with painting it as long as you leave the mating surface free and clear. Do NOT paint the wheel hub.
  2. Not as if it was a noodle scratcher to begin with either
  3. ICS will be ported for the SII so I'm not worried about missing out there but this HTC Ville sounds nice The contracts available on the SII are pretty good just now, most likely because the next phones are around the corner. Up to yourself really which way you want to go, for what you are after the SII has you covered and then some.
  4. I'll need to look into what states are covered here. Las Vegas & Florida for starters anyway
  5. What's the insurance like on these cars? Given the repair costs from small frontal shunts I can only imagine it being quite high? I can't believe how quickly the price of them is dropping but that can only be a good thing for those wishing/wanting to own one.
  6. Erm.... short attention span? How little into the first paragraph did you make it?
  7. Watching an episode of CSI and I just couldn't help the primal urge to water at the mouth when they mentioned this. According to the episode anyone with valid ID can shoot an automatic machine gun as long as it's at an indoor range. Is that accurate? Looks like awesome fun I'm not much of a gun guy but there's just something about a fully automatic gun that gets me thinking about red head bands while grinning from ear to ear.
  8. To be honest Pianists won't be using £150 keyboards unfortunately bud. I could ask my mate who is pretty handy but his expertise is probably more orientated at the £1500 minimum sort of price bracket. If it's just to start off a hobby then you can't go wrong with casio IMO, but I'm limited to greensleeves, Old lang syne and chopsticks
  9. When I first got the phone the battery used to die fairly quickly (I would get a day of proper use out of it). As it's been "broken" in now it lasts about twice as long. I went on a stag do last month and it lasted the whole weekend, although use was minimal. I was plesantly surprised to be the only person on the bus with any charge left
  10. Having fitted decals to both I would disagree but I guess that's up to the buyer
  11. Do you have a set of earphones mate? If the output from that works then it's most likely just the speaker that's gone. If that's the case... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRUST-Soundforce-Speaker-Set-15999-NEW-/300370523186?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopComponents_RL&hash=item45ef7a7432 or http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Compact-stereo-speaker-set-5-Watt-RMS-outpu-292796-/190592469060?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopComponents_RL&hash=item2c60324844 Problem solved.
  12. Erm... UK spec are bigger than jspec If they were for the UK spec they wouldn't fit Jspec, if they were jspec they would be too small and look silly on UK spec. It doesn't matter though I found them on ebay for the same money with the underline
  13. I can't really tell from the fuzzy picture, is there any underline on these? Are they UK or Jspec?
  14. Kill apps? Why would you do that? Remove any task killers that you have and don't bother with the task manager. The only time to ever kill a task is if you are running low on memory. The way the android OS works you never need to kill any tasks as they never use any power (processor or battery) when they are not being used. To access the task manager hold the square button, this will show you the recent apps that you have accessed (also handy). From there click "task manager". You will then have access to the active applications and the RAM allocation. Not to mention your downloaded apps and current storage usage. As said though, I don't "kill" anything and I've never had a problem.
  15. That's because you have infinite choice of what you want to do rather than having limited options. Using the brain to make decisions takes a while to get used to I don't really care that it doesn't have flash, I don't use a LOT of flash on the android so it isn't really a big selling point for me regardless. The only thing that didn't work previously on my iPad, that now works, that really annoyed me was youtube videos in the browser. Seems to work fine now though.
  16. That's some patter you had back then Johnny
  17. What's android got to do with it? There is no such thing as an Android fanboi by the way. You can only be a fanboi when you support an inferior product for the sake of fashion
  18. Ahh, but youtube won't have them all bud. There will be loads not on there. As I said I've been after the cherry coke ad for ages, there's LOADS there but not the one I remember.
  19. It was primary school for me too. I vaguely remember the advert but the sole reason that I remember it at all is that it became common to say "awwww but I'll be your best friend" to get something you wanted... in reference to the ad. I didn't start primary school till 1985 though so it was definitely after that. I'm thinking most likely 87/88. Where did you find the Rolo ads Peter? Are you sure you watched them all? I've also been trying to find the 80s cherry coke advert. It MAY have been early 90s though.... "Cherry coca cola, cherry coke, cherry coke.... it fizzes right out of your mind. Something something start of it, it's a new twist" etc. I know, I know, it's sad lol.
  20. It could still be rolos though the bit I remember isn't the catchphrase of the product, it's simply the hook of that particular advert. For all I know right after the kid is denied the rolo, after offering to be the persons best friend, it could have rolled up in the screen with the voiceover "Do you love anyone enough....." etc
  21. I was wondering why there was a sudden interest in this again all of a sudden.
