Hi guys, My fiance has been wanting to be an ambulance paramedic for ages now but we dont know anyone too find out the best way forward for her. We'v found out that you have to have a D1 category on your licence before you can even apply, we rang up a couple places and the average cost of that is £1500 big ones but its what she really wants to do. Anyway, any help would be appriciated. Cheers guys.

Im 6ft and 16st and I fit no problem, its really comfortable actually, so yes you should fit in no problem. Although you have to get in and out without looking stupid (they are quite low) but you get used to it fairly quickly.

Iv not seen anyone on this forum either . . . Iv seen a couple soops but like you guys say no one waves back to us either I didnt know their was a good few members on here that lived in the north east. Yeah I was thinking about spraying them, its alot cheaper but you dont get the same affect. Has anyone tried that chrome affect plasti-cote (I think thats how its spelt) stuff? Does it actually come out the same colour as the lid? . . .

Hi guys Iv seen lots of pics of some really nice engine bays and was wondering if anyone could tell me where to get a hold of some bits. Iv attatched a pic of my engine bay and would would like to know where to get the polished covers for the bits circled in red and if anyone has any idea how much they are. Iv also seen a couple people have a nice polished cover for the rad fan shroud circled in blue, where do I get these from and how much. Cheers guys.

So did you bring intake temps down from 50c to 29c with a cold air feed and heat shield?

The subs would really need sealing to get any real quality from them but I suppose its not a big job for the buyer. I was thinking of makeing a similar install in mine in the near future and Im a big fan of JBL, it should sound good with a bit of box building, good luck with the sale.

Well I have had the stock air box on for a little while with an apexi panel filter which was fine but when I put the induction kit on (also apexi) I got an increase in boost so to me the induction kit is a better thing to have. I have read the threads and I honestly dont know which is best, I think they both have their good and bad points and at the end of the day I think its all down to personnal preference and whether you want the extra noise and looks (I got an increase in boost too) or to know your intake temps are going to be stable. Heres a link to help you make your decision on induction kit's. I got them second hand off a member on here, although I think Miami GT do them for around the £150 mark. They look good and I thought they made my car abit more responsive and I got a bit more boost (probably why it felt better).

Hi there guys, Yes I know its not much and yes I could of changed the size of my restrictor ring but I got a 1psi gain from fitting polished hard SMIC pipes and putting my apexi power intake (open cone) back on. I got about 0.5 bar from each. I know because Iv been at 15psi for about a month, fitted the SMIC pipes got a bit more boost and fitted my filter today and Iv now got 16psi (1.1bar) its not like it was cold today either. Anyway I know its not brilliant news but I thought I would let people know that their are gains to be made with hard pipes and filters. The car feels alot more responsive aswell and I get 1.1 bar in 2nd and 3rd and just a little over in 4th. (auto) where as before I only got 15 psi in 3rd and a bit more in 4th. I think the hard pipes are a worth while upgrade as my rubber ones seemed to collapse a little when I reved hard, god knows what they are like when your driving and there under more load. Anyway Il shut up and heres a couple pics

Their are some right toss pots going about the streets now-a-days. British law sucks aswell as mentioned, I hate it how if someone brakes into your house and you beat them to a pulp, you get arrested for it andthey get a slap on the wrist. I bet if PC what ever you want to call him got broken into he wouldnt say 'Oh Mr robber please wait while I call for backup so I can arrest you for braking into my house' would he bollocks, he would twat the fecker, but it would be ok for him:mad:. The Law is balls these days. Anyway, I hope he doesnt come back and glad too know the car is ok, I dont know what I would do if someone nicked mine, well maybe . . . Just read this and I’m really sorry, Iv had 5 cats and 3 of them got ran over, 1 disappeared and the other died of old age but not after the next door neighbour shot it with an air rifle twice (scum bag) I still live with my parents and they wont have another cat because its very upsetting when they die, especially when its before their time. Anyway, I know how you feel and it’s not very nice, all the best fella.

I am thinking of getting one of these too after putting my Apexi filter back on. Does anyone know if they actually keep heat away from the filter? and as Wez said does anyone have any pics?
