  1. hi guys, iv recently fiddled with my restrictor ring and im getting a nice steady 14psi so im looking into getting an EBC to up the boost. Iv seen 2 Im after and was just wondering what your opinions on these are and which would be the best buy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-ELECTRONIC-TURBO-BOOST-CONTROLLER-VALVE-EVC-EBC-KIT_W0QQitemZ220080579757QQihZ012QQcategoryZ72205QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-TRUST-GREDDY-PROFEC-B-SPEC-II-BOOST-CONTROLLER_W0QQitemZ290079756420QQihZ019QQcategoryZ32094QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Also how are these DIY jobbies (can I fit them myself) or do they need setting up professionaly? Thanks guys

  3. is the purple fin louder than the standard silver fin or is it just the tone that changes?
  4. just checked my garage and iv only got 1 pic so heres a couple for ya.
  5. hi there, Iv just fitted one of these exhausts myself witha first decat pipe and they sound amazing, get it on asap. If you want pics check out my garage, theres a couple in there.
  6. That is a cheap price and yes auto's are 'worth' a bit less than a manual o though I dont know why because the auto box on the supra is amazing, its not like your avarage ford auto, its actually reponsive and nice to drive, I gues it may be because manuals are more sought after. Have a drive and see if you like it. Where abouts in the Strathclyde area are you from?
  7. lol, was that one of those rare ones with a built in flux capasitor that speeds up the air flow by 10
  8. Yeah it helped me too but if your now in the same position as me youve gotta decide whether to buy an open cone filter or a panel filter and stay with the original air box, unfortunatly I cant find any test results anywhere on that to help me
  9. Im confused on this subject, I have an open cone apexi power intake on at the mo and love the looks and noise but everyone says the standard air box is better because it keeps intake temps down. Now I also still have the standard air box with an apexi panel filter which im considering fitting tomorrow to see if I notice any difference. Sorry abit off topic but I didnt know if you were thinking of just getting a panel filter or an induction kit. In my opinion the Apexi filters are the daddy for increased air flow, and still offer a good level of filtration. If you hold a K&N up to the light you can see gaps in the filter element (not good) and you have to use that horrible oil retention additive to make it 'filter better'. Anyway check this out http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/ hope it helps
  10. Oh my god . . . . how cheap are supras getting, especially TT Im starting to get abit worried. Anyway, looks like a great car and very cheap, hope you enjoy driving it as much as I do mine, there brilliant cars and the auto box is very good. The only common problem to be aware of is that you can overtake just about anything but a petrol station . . . . sorry, bad joke but seriously good luck getting your new car and hope you enjoy it.
  11. If they are for the front speakers so you can fit 16-17cm speakers in there instead of the 10's than I would also be very interested (depending on the price)
  12. I know you say until everyone leaves but I dont finish work until 5 so I wouldnt get there until 6ish, is it worth coming along at that time or will I be faced with an empty car park?
  13. I use mine as my every day car to. Im only running 1bar and I use TC, it helps in the winter (well I find it does) but as long as you expect the back end to kreep out and your careful with you right foot its fine. The only bad thing about driving this time of the year is you have to wash the car so got damn much and its freezing
  14. I just changed mine and it cost me £25ish from Andrew Page's. It was a Blueprint unit, the part number is ADT32338. hope that helps
  15. Im afraid I couldnt, the front tyres alone would be worth that second hand but there was no harm in trying. I think around the £100 mark is a good price for these. Iv edited the first post to give details of the tyres Its a Whifbitz one and I really dont know how you would go about adapting it Im afraid.
  16. my other half (alana) is a Ferrari 360 Modena You've got it all. Power, passion, precision, and style. You're sensuous, exotic, and temperamental. Sure, you're expensive and high-maintenance, but you're worth it.
  17. Im a Ford Mustang, fast, strong, and bold. You're not snobby or pretentious, but you have what it takes to give anyone a run for their money. Just thought I would ask. How do you put Large pics on here, I only know how to put attached, thumbnails up:(
  18. I did have a MG ZS but Iv just sold it an hour ago so the soops my every day car now
  19. Hi there, I have a brand new, never been fitted second decat pipe for sale (its a whifbitz one), im looking for £80+p&p I also still have a set of standard 16" alloys in graphite off my j-spec with good tyres. They have Toyo Proxes T1-R's on the front (225/50/16) with about 6-7mm of tread left on both and Bridgestone Potenza G3's on the rears (245/50/16) one has 5-6mm of tread the other has about 4mm. Im looking for £100+p&p. Heres a couple pics too you can come pick either of these up if you want to and save on p&p
  20. hi everyone. I seen this silver supra at about 2.10pm today (05/02/07) in Newcastle City Centre outside The Sports Cafe heading toward Central Station. It had a private plate in some sort of italic font (read Girl i believe but I could be rong), had standard spoiler and skirts and and an aftermarked exhaust. just wondering if it was anyone on here.
  21. I dont think you will get a second hand one for that money so if you can get a new one for that then buy it. The cheapest new second decat pipe iv seen was £112 I think without new nuts and gaskets etc. so I think you found a bargain.
  22. Do any of you guys use this or what do you think? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-ELECTRONIC-TURBO-BOOST-CONTROLLER-VALVE-EVC-EBC-KIT_W0QQitemZ220075693129QQihZ012QQcategoryZ72205QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem it looks good for the money and acts as a turbo timer too
