  1. Oh no, he was dead serious. - - - Updated - - - Oh no, he was dead serious.
  2. Nice work. Is that a replacement air condensor?
  3. Massive improvement. Did you lacquer them too, or is this just a gloss black paint?
  4. I like the current TT shape too. Love the interior. I seriously considered a TTRS before buying my current Supra.
  5. I'm really not liking the front end on the new TT. What a mess.
  6. I would assume you might have proof of payment? Also you might have paperwork showing your ownership of the vehicle over a period of time, if you had simply lost the bill of sale. If I'm honest a V5C and being the Registered Keeper, unless contested is genrally enough. It's a different story if you've failed to register it or its been shown in trade for an extended period of time. Then you would likely start to have some issues.
  7. The Road Traffic Act makes a clear distinction between Registered Keeper and Owner. The Registered Keeper as you rightly point out is generally the person held on the DVLA register as being responsible for the vehicle. However, the owner is the person who paid/ has rightful entitlement to the vehicle. Generally this is not an issue, but can cause some serious grief in cases of vehicles seizures or theft of motor vehicle crimes. A simple example of this is anyone with finance on their car, unless they have paid over a third of the value of the vehicle you are not the owner. The finance company is.
  8. I knew I should have taken the blue pill!
  9. Call from Steve today. All my parts are in. Toyota are delivering them to me personally due to the cost of the order and issue around damage to parts by couriers. I can't fault the customer service. Steve should be dropping them off next week at some point. It's going to be like Christmas.
  10. On my last car I paid around £4K for a glass out respray.
  11. Wow, I've only just noticed that this chap is now a Sgt in the TV series Grimm!!
  12. Not a fan of those. They don't seem to match the shape of the rear lights or the Supra itself. As an aside how are people getting through an MOT with LED lights where there are no rear reflectors? I thought rear reflectors were a legal requirement so that the car is visible whilst static and parked?
  13. Might be worth messaging DanDan about the setup, although it is also documented on his build thread from a few years ago.
  14. I didn't buy or install the suspension, it was all done by the previous owner. Have a look here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?299527-My-Single-Supra-Facelift-Gunmetal-Six-Speed-600bhp&highlight=alcon The suspension is firmer than stock, and it's hard to say definitively what impact the suspension has in isolation, as you can see from the above link, I've got strut brace and uprated anti roll bars. I don't find it uncomfortable and it is easily comfortable enough, in my opinion, for daily use.
  15. I have them on my car. It's a personal preference thing really, but I had Tein Mono Flex with EDFC on my last car and I much prefer the CW setup. I would add that mine are also height adjustable which was an additional mod done by the last owner.
  16. I was just looking back over the books I have for Mr Feist. It is Magician, Silverthorn, A Darkness at Sethanon and then a host of Rift War books. I'll be honest and say that I can hardly recall the books and as such will be giving them a go after I finish The Wheel of Time.
  17. This appears to have been the car used for all the up close work. http://www.suprastore.com/fasandfurhol.html

  19. Took mine out for a spin. Only the second time it has been out this year then I gave it a wash. Intended to mop the car with my new Meguires DA polisher but I had to wash the wife's car too and that took a long time.
  20. I've been using this website to get EPC pictures and part numbers. Just have to remember its for a USDM Supra. So some part number just wont work with UK and J-Spec cars. I sometime cross reference these to the EPC on ToyoDIY website. http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/
  21. I've got a few more parts numbers, although these are for more misc parts like nuts and bolts etc. I also have part numbers for the wiper arms and washer nozzles.
  22. Part numbers and prices: (All prices are +VAT. Please remember that the prices are subject to change. Toyota do updates twice a year, depending on demand the prices do go up as well as down!) 23. I have the whole set in hardback. I've got up till book 9 first editions from Orbit in the UK. Then when they stopped the graphic covers by Mr Sweet I swapped over to the TOR Fantasy American releases. I've picked the bones dry of Mr Feist a few years back. I read most popular fantasy to death whilst at Uni. One of the best series of books, outside the fantasy genre, I have read was the Matthew Shardlake books by CJ Sanson. I'm also quite partial to Bernard Cornwell. Especially the Uhtred of Bebbanburg series. Basic but fun to read.
