Just back from Nurburgring 24H over the weekend, with the GTROC and Nissan/NISMO hospitality. Had an awesome time and the surprise was that we got to drive around the ring as part of the parade lap. Intro to the race ........... probably shouldnt mention that it was in a Leaf We were led out by the Nissan GTR GT1 car that is privately owned, awesome car and what a noise!!!! Toyota had a 2000GT, dealer maintained, stunning car!! Will post up a picture later, but got chatting to the dealer principle that was driving the car and eventually one of the Nissan guys came over and we got chatting and eventually got onto the 240z subject. So long story short....... if the car is ready for N24H next year, its guaranteed a spot on the parade lap Back to N24H news, the GTR (GT academy driven) finished 9th overall and the 2nd GTR failed out on track with only 49 minutes to go and was right behind the other GTR. They werent quite as quick as the other cars, but they were a lot more efficient, managed a few extra laps to every stop. http://www.bridgetogantry.com/2/images/stories/11_10/zuv.jpg Was also VERY impressed with the new Subaru Impreza STi which finished 18th overall and top of its class by 10 laps! And then there was this, also a class winner and a very respectable 52nd overall Pics from the Premier-Inn the night before the departure, ran into the Supra Owners Club on a roadtrip (DragonBall) around 50 cars!!! The way the impact support just "accepted" the car landing upside down and didnt crumble is rather impressive! Love the reactions of getting his hands off the steering.

Thanks... I like that the dipping matches all thats been done on the dash and the larger paddles do help (even more lazy now, have to move hands even less )

Collected the car at the weekend and really happy with what has been. Forge gearbox cooler was fitted, so will see how that holds up Forgot to take the engine bay photo, minor differences - engine cover removed and manifold has been powder coated black Steering wheel retrim Larger shift paddles Dipping to match the dash

Since I sold the supra a few years ago, I have had:- 2002 Impreza STi 400bhp - fun, but I went too far with suspension mods and it was terrible on the road - SOLD 350z - fun, but needed a little less power for missus to use on the track - SOLD GTR - the ultimate purchase, have owned for 3.5 years (longest I have owned any car, by far) and still love it! 240z - not driven it much, but do like it, a lot.... being rebuilt Escort MK1 - not driven, being rebuilt MX5 MK2 - awesome little car on track and will be kitted out to handling a little better on track and then over the winter it will either be supercharged or sold for a S2000 or 350z, again for the track. Still on my list:- R34 GTR NSX AE86 BRZ/GT86 70s Skyline/Hakosuka Aston Martin

Keep in mind that Pacquiao has given ever concession possible just for this fight, its his 1 and only chance..... I hoping he wins, but Mayweather is a bloody tough opponent
