  1. My main concern with these exchanges is finding a non fraudulent one. Bittrex used to be solid, but is getting a lot of bad reviews lately, as is Coinbase. (just google them for reviews...) It's the wild west out there! Even using cold wallet storage still means you have to transfer BTC into the exchange to buy the other coins and then back out again with the new coins, it seems a lot of people have had stuff go missing during either of these processes. I am very soon taking all my alt coins out of bittrex... hopefully.. will update if all goes smoothly.
  2. Slippage can happen regardless with margin trading, not sure what the exchanges rules are on stop limits. its the nature of the beast though as it depends on market liquidity at the time. Especially when dealing with market makers. Sounds like some people did well out of this though..
  3. The electric car is in its infancy in terms of lifecycle though. Like a mk1 escort compared to the newest r35gtr. Considering all the car manufacturers have committed to electric, there will be a lot of brains and money going into making it work..
  4. Surely the running out thing is only the same as running out of petrol? They will all end up towing trailers with solar sails on!
  5. I thought the main concept behind it was that fossil fuels will allegedly , at some point, run out... Also, lets face it, I am sure that petrol/derv car production isn't an enviro friendly process...
  6. You can sell bitcoin through places like http://www.bittylicious.com or the more industrial https://localbitcoins.com/country/GB which is where you can buy and sell large amounts. It's like an ebay for cryptocurrencies. Complete with feedback ratings, if they are a business or private etc. Easy to use provided you stick with a proper trader with thousands of feedbacks. (for selling or buying)
  7. Came across this badboy and had no idea it had these stats. Not sure on the styling but it goes like stink. https://blog.caranddriver.com/new-tesla-roadster-first-look-zero-to-60-in-1-9-seconds-250-mph-top-speed-620-mile-range/ What do you reckon chaps?
  8. I use https://bittylicious.com/ . UK company and they have always been excellent and SAFE to buy bitcoins through. Their rates are marginally more than you can get on a direct exchange but hey, £20 is nothing compared to losing your cash totally. I use Bittrex for an exchange. Similar thoughts to a few others, alt coins are the big gains unless you were in bitcoin early or have a lot of money to invest. https://localbitcoins.com/country/GB is good for larger amounts but it is totally buyer beware as with anything crypto. It is very easy to turn your hard earned £££ into fresh air if you pick the wrong exchange or 'seller'.
  9. You need to pay for premium membership to reply to for sale threads. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/membership.php
  10. Wow that is a thing of beauty... Awesome. Will follow this closely
  11. The phrase 'cheap, fast , reliable -> pick 2', springs to mind!!
  12. The 2jz engine is very stout. I would be more concerned about other areas. If you can handle the MOT fail sheet as someone has already flagged it, then do it! It is very very cheap at 6k going on current prices so it's not a bad deal regardless.
  13. Bump. carbon bullets had sold. Anyone else got one ?
  14. I would get a full inspection done by a competent supra garage before putting anything into that. It could be a total moneypit. Any engine bay pictures? I am always suspect about 'barn find' type cars and apart from a very rare occasion they are usually moneypits. Cars stood outside long term is a bad thing if never used, rubber hoses perish, It e doesn't do old wiring any good, not to mention corrosion which is like metal cancer, hard to get rid of.
  15. Yeah that. I started off with a cheap car with bust engine and have spent well into 5 figures and lots of time on top since I bought it rebuilding it and getting it professionally mapped etc (single setup). Having said that the bodywork was mint and underbody etc as the car only has 60k miles and has been in Japan for lots of that. So that saved me a lot.
  16. Wow, that was fast. Has it gone to someone on the forum?
