Yes. Exactly as you say, I may consider replacing the ECU... Not sure yet. To be honest, my pump is so noisy and I have no stereo in the car so there is no danger of me leaving the ignition on without knowing it. Edit, just re-read your post what a moron I am. Very good point, will source a fuel pump ECU straight away.

Hi all, I had issues with my car following a diff change. They turned out to be a fuel pump ECU failure. I have now had my fuel pump ECU bypassed and linked directly to the ignition. Now my next problem is that my Dash 2 only has a red light on the battery but nothing on the screen. (indicator lights working). Any idea's? I have checked all the fuses and they are fine.s

I have made the decision on what seats I would like to go for and it is the Cobra Misano's. They must be black and will probably only consider leather. Does anyone have a pair they would like to part with? Thanks Jon Edit: went new in the end.

Worth way more than that. The gearbox is worth 2500 the diff 600 + Etc Etc I'll transfer you 5k in the morning without seeing it if you are interested?

This pic is gates at 1.8 meters each side. I need 1 at 3.3 meters and 1 and 1.2 meters (roughly) as I want to order them as A semetrical gates but not sure how they are going to look like... Can you please help? also, if I get a pic of the gate way at home, would you be able to photoshop into the actual location? Wondering if anyone can help. Uk auto diff removed and replaced with manual j spec diff (cooler motor removed) Car started and ran for 10 mins and conked out. Now the car blows the ECU fuse straight away when you turn it on. Meaning no power to the dash 2 or fuel pump. Power still going to boost controller etc. Diff cooler fuse removed but it is still doing it. Any ideas please?

It's ok but the synchro in 3rd is starting to go. Noel wanted too much money, didn't know he had a uk auto diff though. Might call him on that!

Have you burnt the first layer off j? I always give a set a burnout to clear off the chemicals and ensue I am not going to come unstuck. Thanks for the feedback though as it may have saved people buying tyres that are not fit for purpose. Agree with you, can't beat r888's

One night I decided I wanted a lighter collection - for weeks afterwards I had 2-3 little packets arriving everyday. 72 lighters later I had a collection....ouch. Didn't learn though.... Tonight I bid on a red phone box think I will win too!!!

Of you build it properly with quality parts then there is no reason for parts to fail. Unless you - push the parts limits and or abuse it. Glad it's been good for you mate, look forward to a good run with you on the dragonball!!

I would suggest an adjustable heat gun rather than a hair dryer. Does take a lot of time and effort. As aleady stated, if previously bad paint or bad material then you have no hope! Sorry

Why do it on the way to the garage when you could do it on the way back when you have had the car checked and are sure it is mechanically sound and tested by a professional and more to the point when you had rubber with legal tread depth.
