  1. Not sure of your car is uk or jap, but as a long shot, if your mixure is wrong (black smoke) and idling is also all wrong, any chance the o2 sensor is not working correctly?
  2. Silver Supra with Veilside rear spoiler driving North up the A273 into Burgess Hill this morning, approx 8:45am, car looking pretty mean
  3. Finally, someone else found it funny!
  4. Lindsey: Lol @ Jspec. Weetabix are space food, please don't attempt them without milk! You won't be able to speak for days, they are sooo dry! I am just eating peanut butter on toast with a cup of earl grey. Mmmmm. Yummy.
  5. ok lol, we I'll give it a go then, got to fit my de-cat pipe first anyway, hope that goes ok! Will be ordering the Walbro in the very near future. Out of interest, in step (8) above it says "make sure the connection is well insulated" What is recommended then? heat shrink sleeving? I'm happy doing the soldering, but good insulation against fuel, not sure whats best there. TBH I was a tad shocked that there was electrics in the petrol tank anyway! but I assume it's all perfectly safe :o
  6. Lindsey: JUST send the ipod, you wont get anything else back. When you get the box it will have all the instructions in it and there is actually only enough room for the pod. Let us know how you get on with it all.
  7. This may well be a repost but I've looked and i can't find it, so I apologise in advance... it's still funny though and I bet even if you have seen it before, it'll make you laugh again! WARNING: This link is slightly disturbing! http://www.superbike.co.uk/images/for_web/downloads/video_thumbs/5_1_5/mototraining.wmv
  8. yikes, you guys are putting me off this job lol, oh well I'll give it a go anyway, fingers crossed it all goes ok

Lindsey: HA, that made me chuckle as I scrolled through. Now where did Bo (our cat) get to?....
  11. Lindsey: Go and take a loooong bubble bath and get dressed, lazy git, lol. When you're finished, run another for the wife and wake her up, she might like it.
  12. Lindsey: Get a Paul Horton instead. Galleries that sell those paintings also sell Horton.
  13. http://www.tiffany.com/uk/ Great website, i'm sure there is something on there that she would like?
  14. We tried to use a third party apple agent to get the ipod replaced, they were literally hopeless! Just do it yourself, think you can register it for service here http://depot.info.apple.com/ipod/ and then that will start the whole process off, you will get the empty packaging by ups in a few days... it comes with instructions. remember not to send back accessories, you wont get them back...
  15. Lindsey: I think jewellery is the only way to go! Take her on a trip to Tiffany&Co. Silver and diamonds, what more could a girl want? Get her a classy timeless piece. Mmmm!
  16. Thanks Matt, that's really really useful, you've got to love this forum and it's members! At the risk of asking for too much, anyone got a step by step guide for fitting an FPR too lol? Maybe the fuel pump and FPR instructions should go in the FAQ as sticky threads, must get asked time and time agiain...
  17. As far as I can remember, you need to go to the apple website and there is a link on there - somewhere! - where you can apply for one and they just send it to you. Chilli sorted this bit out for me, i'll ask him later and get back to you!
  18. Lindsey: Hi, I don't know if anyone is into point and click games but msn have been emailing people with a link to a game called The Kitty Caper. It's a mystery game and you have to download msn toolbar. You have to look for clues, etc. Just something to do if you;re bored for 5 mins... oh and there is a prize of a trip on the orient express. http://www.thekittycapergame.com
  19. Thanks for the advice then, I'll search for that thread as I'd like to replace the in-tank pump with a walbro asap as I'm de-catting and starting to think of some tuning bits and bobs... Soonto"has"supe recommended this FPR - http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateH.asp?SubFolderID=206&SearchYN=N so in the absence of a better recommended FPR, I'll probably go for this one. With the pump and this fitted I then plan to fit the emanage ultimate and wideband 02 to get the most out of my stock turbo's, before thinking then of anything more radical. thats the plan anyway
  20. Well TBH I was delighted when I found out that i was getting a new unit. It was a christmas pressie from chilli and i was a bit annoyed when it broke. It had a few scratches, etc so when they sent me my brand new one i got some of the silicone covers and kept it sparkly. Still looks good. Don't be worried about sending it back, everything is so quick! They send you an empty box by UPS, you put just the unit back in the box with the foam, send it back and it goes from there, they even give you a new tracking number so you know when it's going to arrive. Good luck with it all and enjoy your new unit - i found some new features on mine, they had updated the software since i got it first time around! BONUS!
  21. Ok from what you say then I realise that although they are sold as a combo, they are still just two seperate items (and I was indeed being dumb) - so fitting is as per normal. For some reason I thought they had managed to combine the pump and regulator into one unit, doh! What is so difficult about the FPR, can't I just fit it somewhere in the engine bay and then re-route the fuel pipes to/from it, so that the old one is no longer used at all?
