  1. Thanks everyone for all your comments. I think i'll be cautious of ebay from now on!
  2. I agree, it's a shame isn't it that people can't just use the site for what it was intended for! Oh well, another lesson learnt I s'pose.
  3. Yeah I suppose, it's just annoying when i've not really had any problems with Ebay until now. Also having some trouble with some anti theft valve caps!! Grrr.
  4. Yeah, he advertised it as being able to fit all toyotas, all years, etc. do you think i have a case of i email paypal???
  5. I purchased a TRD oil cap from ebay for £15.99, with a further £6 postage! When it finally got here from the states, it turns out that it's a screw fitting and it doesn't fit mine. The seller has offered a refund but by the time i send it back to the states it's not going to be worth my while. Does this fit any supra at all? I was wondering because he advertised it as being for a mk4 supe. If it turns out that it does fit someones, would you be interested in taking it off my hands???
  6. Ok cheers, well if you have his details that would be handy then, it's not too far from me. When I get round to getting it checked I'll take a drive up that way, worth a trip to get a decent job done
  7. I think respraying in the original colour just to cover some imperfactions such as scratches and stone chips on a car that is several years old is ok and if you're doing it for this reason its usually localised to one area such as the front end. For this you could still have a genuine mint original car. To respray the whole car is a bit different and guess it's not cheap so you would need good reason to do so - maybe it was red and faded badly for example. If it's done properly then great, seen some real botch jobs though, enough to make me think twice about it. A fully resprayed car would make me curious as a buyer, so I guess it's not a bad idea to take pictures before to show that you've not just covered up some nastyness Black with flick, looks cheap? Well maybe, probably depends, I'm talking quite subtle here, not pimp my ride style!!! I didn't even like black cars until I got one lol - was a fan of red before, the supra red is nice but doesn't quite do it for me. I love the black now, but like I've said, keeping it looking its best is a biach. black sure does shine like a mirror when polished though *** end thread hijack ***
  8. I thought the glasses suited him, added some extra sparks to cover up the other head and re did the shirt and tie so it fitted. I tried, lol. - oops, left in the original glasses... changed.

    No 1 Jtuner

I've been getting it too and i also missed the 1st and 2nd issue, so if anyone else has a copy of either. I'm willing to pay for it.
  10. I think black with a flick can look really nice! Black is a bit of a 'mare to keep looking nice though, as I've discovered (anyone want to finish polishing my car for me? lol). I know exactly what you mean about the stone chips though, I figure I'll just have to get the front nose resprayed at some point and so there is no point worrying about it.
  11. I shudder to think how much a full Mr T repsray costs, any ideas anyone or shouldn't I even ask? So does that mean a car that has been repsrayed a different colour cant even make it to the "Very Nice" status then? Must admit I've never been a fan of colour changes, but it depends what you want out of your car at the end of the day. Could a modified car ever make it to the mint category I wonder?
  12. £15.5k sounds like a reasonable price to me, lets face it these are collectable - it's a modern day classic, rather special and they don't make them anymore of course... As CW says, the respray could seriously devalue the car, but I can only assume from the agreed price that the repsray was done very professionally to the highest standards - that can't have been cheap!
  13. Design and make a website all about your supe with pics and lists of mods, etc... Oh and if that doesn't float your boat, my car needs finishing, taken me 3 days so far with my 5 step polishing, meguiars clay, etc.
