  2. Ive got the srd unit, added 50 bhp lol
  3. This must be a record! 15 year old thread resurrection!
  4. Off the line the auto box car will 9/10 always be faster, once you`re out of 1st then there`s not alot too compare, i`m talking straight line here btw, we all know which is quicker/better/more fun on twisties.
  5. Yes exactly that, the 272s along with the turbo you require for your power goal will be coming on strong much higher in the rev range and to get full use of your power band you`ll need to be revving to atleast 8k which you can`t do on a stock bottom end, for circuit work you want a linear power as possible starting from say 3.5k upto 7.5k, this will give the motor more reliability as you`re not kicking its head in all of the time, all imo of course.
  6. I use a Borg 366sxe on my track supra, really happy with performance and reliability, not sure if your 272 cams are abit aggressive for your goal though.
  7. Do you really want me to answer that lol, the ksports are ok but for me it was the readily available pads n discs that makes the ap setup a no brainer, i get through a pair of discs each year and probably 3 sets of pads, so after selling my previous brembo setup(which was ok) i`m basically now running this setup for free.i bought 10 sets of discs and pads so i`m good for a while.
  8. Hi mate, its basically this caliper,https://trackformula.co.uk/product/ap-racing-pro-5000-r-9660-caliper-18mm-pad/ With brackets and bells from Reyland, http://www.reyland.co.uk/ Then i have a couple of contacts for Discs and pads, used from btcc teams. I had to get anti rattle springs for the discs as they are floating design and made my own springs for the pads to as they rattle when driving on the road, Bare in mind this setup is more racecar than road, like no dust seals on the calipers etc, they have got road version calipers called Radical i think.
  9. I think the main difference is that most people don`t want to loose their licence so give it some beans upto 80/90 leptons, aye remember leptons;) then back off, if you`ve got the balls to carry on after that then fair play. What you should do is get your car on a track to have some real fun and push the limits properly in a safe environment, i started 17 years ago and still have "the bug" with only 2 tracks to tick off in the uk and not being big headed but also the fastest supra around the Nurburgring.
  10. Have you guys tried a drop of brake fluid in the ps fluid, never tried it myself but supposed to work, swells the rubber seals slightly.
  11. Nice 1, thats with circuit days then, hope the weather is good for you, we went in November and had half dry day then wet, good fun though, i`m going again in May with RMA.
  12. You`re mega old though Dunk:innocent:
  13. Totally impractical being left hand drive, thirsty, yes more than the supra and not even that fast.
  14. On the lookout, cash waiting.
  15. Would take 4500 on this.
  16. I would think any ester based synthetic oil will be ok, alot use Millers now for motorsport etc might be worth looking at.
  17. I have a set which are abit knocked about or i have a set in my old engine but need to pull them out to check condition.
  18. Cool video dude, just be careful with showing front cameras/speeds on road, the old bill are looking at these videos now and clamping down.
  19. Someone was talking about oem denso buddy, can be ordered directly from them and cheaper than toyota.
