Just dropped my supra off at bodyshop this morning and was wondering what the 'usual agreement' is regarding them and their employees driving it? No mechanical work so shouldn't need a road test. Have taken a photo of the mileage before it left my possession, but what should I let them off with...? Is it ok for them to be doing the lunch run's it for example...? Discuss.

It'll depend on where and when we're meeting whether or not I can get to this... Wor lass is back for the weekend and its a case of all hands on deck with wedding planning - big fayre on at the Gosforth Park Marriot tomorrow.

I've been trying (and still am) to sort out a meet/visit to the Aston Martin workshop up in Beamish (my brother works there) - plenty of parking and we get to have a look around their facilities. However, this is taking a bit longer than thought as I now need to wait for the owner to get back and give it his go ahead. I suggest in the meantime we sort something else and this can come later on. So, shall we not just all meet at JNE on the 8th Feb? Or what about the Bowes Incline pub for some grub on the Sunday 8th then a Supra convoy to the Stadium of Light? Failing that, I second Liam's suggestion of the Keelman arms.

I'd be up for doing something and also happy to sort something out re arrangements. Would like to wait until after my car is back from the bodyshop though - looks tatty at the minute and a bit embarrasing! Static meet, Drive or a bit of both? Bare in mind this time of year ain't great for spirited driving so a meet and some pub grub might be on the cards. So dates after 16th Feb....post up when is suitable (weekends obviously). I'll get cracking with some locations and report back here soon.

Go for a HKS Silent Hi-Power from whifbitz (specific NA version). Not mega-cheap but you get what you pay for. Got one on my NA and I'm very impressed with the sound - not as bad as the Nur Spec R I had before hand in terms of droning etc. but still sounds nice and throaty on throttle and 'purrs' at idle. Won't get any unwanted attention from the boys in blue either...

How much for the rear calipers - they in working condition?

Which clifford model is it? IIRC most (if not all) use a back-up battery for power to the alarm so the key fob should still be able to disarm and allow you entry into the car. Matt Harwood is the resident alarm expert on here - maybe drop him a pm.
