I've just called Santa Pod to check on the gate opening times for Sunday.

The lady told me that normal opening hours were 8.00am for Sunday events, but she then asked if I was with a club, I proudly replied the MKIV Supra club and she then said that we should be allowed in from 7.00am

So maybe i'll turn up early being only 10 minutes away and get a good place in the club area and some zzzz's in my deck chair until everyone else arrives? ;)

See you Sunday,

Cheers,

Sherriff.

I've just noticed that I replied to this ages ago - I was originally in at spot no. 40. Is it first come first served? ;)

EDIT - Just noticed your reply on Pg 11 - buggar, didnt see that. Me and my TRD3000GT will have to park with the rest of the riff-raff :innocent:

IMO its doubtful we'll end up with the full number on the day. from previous experience its possible that people who arrived early could easily park up in the club section and walk around with their pass to people without, as one time none were sent out and 'Terminator' was dishing them out as people arrived. There hardly going to kick out sup's without passes once there round the club side, its just too much hassle for them.

Everyone was up in arms about the p*ss poor pod organisation that year so lets turn them over and get everyone together if poss.........

I aim to be there early, and i'd gladly walk around to 'donate' my pass, especially as i was outside the top 50 on the original list.

Pm if your interested and i'll swap mobiles so we can 'arrange z drop off'. I could steal some other early riser's passes if we have a few 'passless' ones.

Spoken to Santa Pod and they have told me that all cars, club or otherwise, have to queue in the left hand lane to be admitted....fair enough, but the last time I was there earlier in the year all the club cars seemed to be using the right hand lane.

Any opinions?

PS. Thanks for the pass Mawby:thumbs:

just got mine, its a good idea once you in you can give your tickets away to other supras if it works.

do you have to fill in your reg number.

and what about other non club owners who will just go and want to race?

last time i did not have a pass and decided i wanted to have a go at racing. i told the marshall i am going to race and they let me through. i then parked up the end of the strip where there is loads of room.

i hope they let my support car in too to park up top away from other cars. :)
