MattP
Has anyone on here converted a dirty old Mk4 Supra to Electric yet or are we all sticking with our 2J... It just seems remarkably popular at the minute in classic car circles and of course generally speaking they will thrash mild Single Turbo setups in the performance aspect aswell as indulging us with a southerners Smug factor when entering ULEZ zones. He’s on Instagram, username ‘stuckinhe90s’ It’s not finished yet edit: Ric beat me to it. MattP
Funnily enough that's what I saw yesterday.... So should we all just get in line and hand over our money?

Be really interested to see the weight of battery and where it goes compared to the stock car.
MattP
Surely can't be much heavier than our pig iron 2J blocks and associated bits. We can all make turbo noises with our mouths it will be glorious.

Burna
It will handle like a dog, like a Tesla does, due to all the extra weight, but Americans don't care about that as they mostly interested in straight line drag racing.
Style
Yeah electric cars are not light at all. Aren't the smallest Teslas like 2 tonnes? That sure as hell doesn't come from a heavy interior!
Noz
Electric turbo's are still under rated. Torqamp really hasn't been utilised as much as it should have.
AJI
Sacrilege. One of the best ICE's of all time to be fitted to a car in the MkIV, to even think of replacing it with a milk float motor? The shame!
mc92
I found the youtube, cool project. It looks like the batteries are sitting higher in the car than the Tesla, so I'm sure it'll be a pig in the corners but at least it'll be fast in a straight line. And lots of weight over the rear wheels.
