Quick update:

Cars not going to be in the UK until the end of the month.

It's my birthday soon so am looking at some new seats as a (nother ;)) present to myself. Hunting for rails at the minute and saw the Bride MO on the MVP website. Will these match up with a set of recaro speeds?

So finally got round to picking her up on Saturday!

Got up at 4.30am after around 45 minutes sleep and got the train down to Cramlington where Jurgen picked me up. Quick trip round to JDM Nirvana and there she was!!

Sorted out the car and had a drool over some other machines then headed home. Just outside Newcastle realised I was about to hit a milestone (kilometrestone doesn't really work) and though it justified pulling over for a snap:

Then the heavens opened so carried on the rest of the way home and put the car and myself to sleep for a bit!

Weather cleared up in the evening and took her to meet up with a mate. The car was assaulted by what can only be described as a modern day Pterodactyl so had to pull out the cleaning gear at 10.30pm!

Some snaps from today. Blood Brothers :D

That's all for now anyways. Got some immediate plans namely:

  • UK Brakes
  • OEM Air box
  • New headunit - more to come on that in another post!
  • Full geometry & alignment set up

All in, absolutely delighted! It was worth the 5 month wait and i'm ecstatic to finally have it home. Major thanks to everyone JM Imports and the guys on here that have helped me with my many questions.

Very nice car Mate! Very jealous!!

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks mate. All i'm prepared to say is that it was more than I budgeted for ;)

No problems buddy, I haven't received anything yet :)

I've tried sending it again ;)

Beautiful example  Looks totally perfect, even down to the wheels. Will look a little nicer with UK brakes though. Although have you considered going for some Porsche Brembos or similar? The UK brakes are good, but VERY heavy.

I have not but will look into them, cheers.

Looks like a lovely example!!

Great looking Supra. Have fun this summer ;)

Very nice, will hopefully get a look at it soon.

Lovely car mate! Many safe miles in it! Cheers!

Thanks guys, much appreciated :)

Carried out the first real 'mod' to the car on Friday....

replacing the stereo! Car had come over with a full Carrozzeria (Pioneer) system but the instructions and menus were only available in Japanese so it had to go. Took off the dash and was confronted with a myriad of wires to all sorts of electronic wizardry. Eventually managed to sort it out and get the new one in place - minus a small screwdriver that is now hiding behind the dash somewhere waiting to wreak havoc one day...

Gave her a quick wash on Saturday as well. Got my snow foam lance working with the new Nilfisk which works brilliantly, then a quick going over with some Sonux QD spray as I wanted to go out and get some booze for the football :D
