There are a couple of members in Leicester, best info you could get would be by sending a pm to 'Keron', he could ship it to you too along with the RHD bits you want, that's what he does for a living.

I was searching for RHD clutch pedal assembly and he is one of the people selling one.

So I PM him and he PM me back. I will be buying from him!

Good to know he is a trustworthy gent! Hope him and I become good pals.

Maybe he will be interested in some LHD parts from me. :)

Yes, I am planning to go big single.

I don't know how it is in UK, but in USA everyone wants big single.

Currently have my JDM 2JZ-GTE head at a machine shop.

It will sound NASTY when all put back together. Getting some secret stuff done to it.. :)

Have to find a built block that is capable of handling the power.

My goal is 800bhp at low boost and still comfortable to drive on the street!

This will be a show car for my business.

Yup i assume is the same. Keron is based there, his company name is Extreme performance. Look him up.

Decided to get motivated and put in some WORK

ahhhhh yes I see, I think my post count was too low.

Now I can post in most other parts of the forum that I couldn't before.

 

But I can not start thread in the project car section :(

Also the classifieds area I can't start any threads.

 

I will have to find membership details on the main page, no rush though.

Maybe when I get some free time. Thanks for the tips guys!

^^^ exactly, that is only part of my concern.

 

I talked to the guy, he said that he has the mold to make replicas and that is what he does, that is why the price is cheap.

Just not sure if he is legit, I'm sure he is maybe, he has a shop so he must be legit.

I'm sure he would not rip me off. I am just concerned. Do not want to give too much trust, that could come back to hurt me.

Just afraid he is going to take my money and leave me high and dry, with 3500 miles of water between us.

 

It is easy to see this happening especially knowing that I am from long distance

It would cost me more money time and effort to go there if he does not deliver.

To be honest mate, if your not 100% sure, I would look elsewhere. As i said, I'm local and wouldn't use them.

Bodykits is a weird science. A dodgy copy might look ok. But once offered to the car any nasty replica kit could take more effort and money to fit than if you just bought an original to start from.

I'd be asking for fittment guarantees, pics and detailed descriptions of exact materials used.

If you plan on going for big power, forget the R154 5 speed box. Go for the GETRAG V160 or V161 unit.

 

Otherwise, you'll change the box as often as you need to refill the tank ;)

 

I was thinking to convert my automatic, the R154 gearbox can hold to 450-500 hp ?
