James Posted July 8, 2010 Author Share Posted July 8, 2010 Got the car back on Monday It's still in the state that it left me in. The insurance didn't even open the bonnet! So they don't know what is/isn't wrong with it yet it's a cat D write off! :| Getting together a bumper, drivers side wing, bonnet, slam panel and bumper support panel. Slam panel and bumper support panel will be sorted too when Keron PM's me back. Just need to get a front bumper and - maybe - a driver's side bonnet hinge and I should maybe be good to go! James Posted August 18, 2010 Author Share Posted August 18, 2010 Well... The car is going into storage for a while and I will be ordering some new bits while it is off the road. I have always wanted Ridox bits so figured that I'd be as well to get now rather than buy twice as I won't be using the car for a while anyway. First thing to do was to remove the bumper, lights and wings: ------------ Made some good progress on the car tonight - stage 1 of taking it apart in preperation for the new bits: Just need to get the bumper bar and impact bar off then take off the slam panel (spot welded, only non bolt on part) and get the new ones fitted. Front bumper, carbon splitter, sideskirts with carbon lower section, rear skirts (spats) with carbon lower section & 30mm extended front fenders are on the list. As is a nice carbon bonnet Maybe some carbon Gandador mirrors as well. But that can wait! Oh and facelift rear lights too! good progress loon, looks like your fans missing in those pics... wonder where that could be..
