  1. Your not going to take the box out to do a filter change though and latex gloves are pretty cheap, it is a pain getting the sealer off but not too bad if you use a ramp and brake cleaner. You just have to be thorough to get the faces clean and then you don't suffer any leaks. Obviously if your on your back under the car then its not nice but then no job is if your working like that.
  2. What are they struggling with exactly ?
  3. Just popped it in the PO first class
  4. I'm not sure on mileage but as a simple guide. Pull your dipstick out and check the colour of the ATF, it should be a nice cherry red colour. If its not i'd do a fluid and filter change but i'd do this on a ramp as its much easier and will only take 1 hour max to do 5 litres of type IV ATF from Toyota is around £60
  5. No gasket on mine and its not shown in the WSM, you use a sealer that's listed in the WSM, if the gasket works then its much easier. The sealer is a pain to remove but if you use brake cleaner and do it on a ramp its not too bad
  6. Ok no problem, as soon as the car is definitely sold their yours, i'll pop them in the boot and meet up with you
  7. I have attached the Brakes WSM PDF for you Page BR-60 on wards covers the handbrake BR.pdf
  8. The down side is their quite heavy so could cost a few £'s in postage.
  9. Sounds like you found out the hard way Rog I know longer need mine so will possibly be selling them in the near future
  10. Just get an aircon regas place to empty the system then your mechanic can do the matrix then just get it refilled, its not that expensive to do Should be mobile ones in your area if you search google, i'd have thought £50 to empty and regas the system, some are more some less
  11. There are a some members going to this after the Dragonball, i'd have come down just for this but my supra is for sale and possibly sold to a French chap

  14. I made 2 ramps out of wood to get my car up high enough to get a jack under it, worked a treat
  15. Well if its a missfire its easily checked. Go round the dizzy cap taking off 1 lead at a time and see what difference it makes to how the engine runs, put the lead back on and go to the next one and so on.

Cheers Ed, its not gone yet and no deposit in my account I'm flattered so many want me to stick around the club, thanks to all and to those that dont, I might buy a cheap NA and join the other half of the club
  17. Okay Rog, pm me your delivery address and i'll pop it in a jiffy bag and get it off to you.
  18. I have found the mast and its number is different to what Nic posted. The one i've got has 86337 14411 on the bag and Nics info says 86337 14410 ? It cost £50.90 retail + vat but if you want it its yours for £30 and i'll post it first class FOC

    End of an era

Had a problem with the importer who tells me he can't come to buy the car as his ID card has expired which you apparently need to travel abroad if your French. He has asked me if i'll hold the car for 2 weeks while he sorts this out and has agreed to transfer me a non refundable 5% deposit to hold the car. Just waiting on this to be paid and hopefully all will go according to plan. I contemplated delivering it myself if they paid for it in full via transfer
