Not sure you can buy the retainers on there own from Toyota, pretty sure they come in the seal kits with everything else -
You could have Avon zz3's with a better wet grip rating for £128

Reducing the diameter worked nicely but i'd have left the turned angle intact, same as these.

Thanks Andy, yeh she wasn't bad for a rusty old UK bus was she Just trying to sort out with the French buyer now so hopefully it'll all be done and dusted on Saturday. I've just had my insurance renewal through which is at the end of the month so fingers crossed its gone before then, saying that its only £315 so not the end of the world

I want the car sold now mate so i'm trying to be as flexible as possible, i'm not thinking he's out to have me over but theres so many notes that are moody these days i'm a little concerned We'll see what he says and obviously he's got to be prepared to trust me to pay before seeing the car so it might be a non starter. I can see why he wants to come next Saturday as there are 2 very cheap one way flights from Lyon to B'ham

I've still got the car and the importer wants to come on Saturday now, i'm not keen on taking a large chunk of cash off someone that can't be paid straight into my bank. I've politely asked if he would do a bank transfer now so we'll see what happens

Afraid i only have 4 outer seal retainers and im not sure if there's a difference from front to rear and i don't know which these are Your welcome to them though -

Not very good and Toyota only leave a very small gap on the outer rings. I have some spare if its any help which you can have I'll have to check exactly what i've got in my parts box -
What about the white UK spec with only 19k on it on Piston Heads ? Should be easy to check if its for real with its UK history etc

Sizes guide for a 9.5" wheel are narrowest 245 (255 or 265 ideal width) widest 275 Different manufacturers will give their own fitment advice so if you can find that out then go with that.

I'd pay a decent mechanic an hours labour to go over the underneath of the car with a torque wrench going round all the subframe bolts front and rear and all other suspension bolts and check for worn ball joints, bushes, wheel bearings etc

No problem Jurgen and thanks for your input DVLA says sign and give them the whole VC5 and then write to them giving the vehicle details and date of export.
