    Oil squirters

I'm interested to know when running a turbo 2jz motor do you really need oil squirters ? Is this simply because of higher piston temps due to it being a turbo engine ? What will happen if you don't ?
  2. If theres enough thread length on the 4 water pump bolts that the viscous fits too take the viscous inc fan off and space out the viscous with some washers of equal thickness
  3. Page BR-60 clearly shows the handbrake and all its parts BR.pdf
  4. Induction wont get you anything but it'll sound quicker
  5. I'd personally leave it alone and keep it as Toyota intended
  6. PCD, spigot bore, width and offset required
  7. Sorry if i've missed it but i wouldn't be shoving 600 hp through a motor that has knocking noises and by the sounds of it other issues that should be looked at first. How many miles has the motor done ?

    Bent rim

Just get a blow torch and a hammer job done
  9. Hi Peter Here is the WSM pdf for the cooling system. Look at page CO-20 and you can see the electric fan connections Hope that helps Just got your txt and yes that's where i would think the power and temp sensor on your custom electric fans will plug into CO.pdf
  10. If money is tight i would spend it on making sure your j spec brakes are all working as they should be, fit braided lines (£60 approx) and replace all the brake fluid.

    Auto or manual

    No expensive clutches with autoboxes
  12. My monies on the st/st has just got very hot and is now very hard, a HSS drill is going to struggle and just lose its edge so a solid carbide drill bit for the win but their not cheap and i doubt general diy sell them but you never know
  13. You could have work hardened the st/st now and you'll need a carbide bit to drill your hole, if you use these wear some eye protection as they are very brittle
  14. Dormer un coated HSS drills are more than up to the job
  15. Get yourself some of these, they come in different sizes you use these to centre your drill hole and it also acts as a pilot for your 5 mm drill or required size. 5 mm diameter shouldn't need another pilot drill after you've used a centre drill
  16. The supras spigot diameter is 60.1 mm the wheels you will have to measure - - - Updated - - - 2nd place is first loser
  17. Hammer setting What size hole are you trying to drill ? i would personally start with a HSS centre drill then drill the size hole you want, you must slow the speed down on ST/ST and try to use a coolant fluid or you'll just take the edge off the drill, you don't need titanium coated either. Normal HSS decent quality drills should be fine

    End of an era

Just got off the phone to the guy who's actually buying my car and it looks like the importer will be flying into B'ham on the 31st at noon to pay and collect the car. Fingers crossed it all goes according to plan now and no more snow next weekend
  21. The clean certainly helped I'd be getting one colour of hose next as that always ruins a nice bay in my opinion
