  2. Hi Sam thank you for your interest, you are lucky this year we would have had the cars/hotel/people sorted by now,but with the NEC waiting for the go ahead from the Goverment with Covid 19 etc etc its ran a few months behind, the Hotel is pre booked, We are still deciding on the cars ( 3 ) and looking for people for manning the stand during the show etc etc , Its looking hopeful its going ahead but we haven't had the Stands contract yet off the NEC, we are still going ahead and planning it all with fingers crossed that it indeed goes ahead Cheers -Ian-

  16. Only Harry did as he helped with the lights, I did see parts of the car like the seats wheels and the making of the rear spoiler when visiting the garage but not the car its self , A funny thing was when it arrived that night at the Sisters Race Track we all were parked outside wait to be let in and then was told to look away as the car arrived behind us  Cheers -Ian-
  17. Right Guys, I was involved in the Goblin Works garage Supra, it all started out 18 months ago at the Classic car show down in the NEC Birmingham where we met Jimmy DeVille and got chatting as you do about stuff and Darren( aka Wile ) and myself said why haven't you done a Supra and Jimmy reply was we cannot afford to buy one in the first place and spend the money etc etc then we suggested a doner car to which said that might work and then we contacted JB and the rest is history They didn't do anything to the engine as the budget wouldn't allow all the money was spent on the body work ( the bodywork was sent to one place who totally foooked it up and they went with the 2nd one after loosing a ton of money on the 1st one ) so the budget was squeezed more We know its not to everyone taste but we didn't have any influence on the final result ( apart from the rear lights ) but it didn't cost us a penny it was all TV land money My opinion is its a show stopper it got a lot of attention on the journey down to the NEC and again at the show both old and Young people liked it and its all good for the promotion of the club IMO Cheers -Ian-
  18. We will be up for this where is the venue ? Cheers -Ian-
  19. In response to your comments Dunk Yes it is a poor relation to " Chip Foose and Kindig etc " from America they all have Fantastic budgets and have to time to do their brilliant builds, The Goblins do not have 5% of their budgets, Yes some of their "builds " are not as good as we have come to expect with the American shows, Having got to know the three Goblins Jimmy, Helen and Ant all have their own particular talents and to my knowlage it is the only UK based "custom car" show apart from that Chop shop mess down in London, The others like Fuzz Townsend etc who "restore" cars not customise them Just to add the three presenters are very approachable and friendly and hope there will be a fourth series but reading between the lines it might not be happening but fingers crossed Cheers -Ian-
  20. A Little bump to this, we have been wispered the Supra episode will be on the Thursday 23rd January @ 9pm Cheers -Ian-
  21. Regarding the GWG " aka club car " I drove it down to the NEC from the Goblins garage and the car go a lot of attention all good ( thumbs up from car and van drivers passing ) and lots of people looking at it when we stopped for lunch on the motorway services, then when we got to the NEC for the show it was put on the stand in full view prime position and we had more good reports than bad to be honest from both old and youngsters At the end of the day it is a marmite car, the wrap was designed by Helen Stanley for a specific theme ( the program airs in January will explain ) it gets the Club noticed and " out there " which what we all wanted in the project Regarding the ride with the 20" wheels it is a hard ride but nothing too uncomfortable I didn't push it tho as it was chucking it down most of the way down Cheers -Ian-
  22. Sorry for the delay ...Yes it was/is Goblin Works Garage doing a MKiv Supra aka the " club car " It all came about last year at the NEC Classic cars show myself and Darren chatting with Jimmy DeVille and we came up with the idea with JB and basically GWG took it from there...…… You will have to watch the show in January the 3rd series on Quest TV unsure what episode in the series it will be to see how it all unfolds We know its a marmite car aka some hate it some love it, but on our stand at the NEC this year it was well received Cheers -Ian-
  23. Keep watching Quest tv in January you will see a Supra " done " Cheers -Ian-
