Tricky-Ricky

Mine is because the old SXOC board would not let me use Dick or Dicky, so i ended up with Ricky, my name is Richard but i have always been called Dick (and this dates back to when Dick didn't really have other connotations;) ) and Tricky because i used to build custom bikes and i was known for the clever little gadgets and bits i used to make for them, and now do the same on my cars.

Now thats what i needed to hear:)

I am very familiar with the Emanage blue, i have used and mapped one on my S14 for some time, i just wanted to find out if anyone had had any issues with them, i also brought an Ultimate but couldn't use it on my S14 as it caused a misfire, i know there are a couple on here that are using the Ultimate on a Supra with no problems so it seems?

Has anyone run the blue Emanage on both UK and Jap spec TT ? and have you had any problems doing so?

Yeah i know mate, but i'd hate for someone to abuse all my hard work, but selling it is what its about i guess, i have a guy from southern Ireland who is seriously interested, so it may be going.

Just edited the spec as i forgot the oil cooler:)

Hi Matt, no not gone yet, still not put it on Autotrader or ebay yet, as i said on the SXOC i'm worried that a max flower type wiil buy it:badidea: i have a pos PX and just had someone contact about buying, but as they say its not over untill the fat bird sings:) glad yours is going fine, and i hope my concerns don't give you any problems, have decated yet? and did you fit the new nose?

Have to say i still think 12.4 AFR is a little ambitious at full boost, i only tend to run that sort of AFR with water injection! more like 11.6 without, are you running a fair bit of timing retard? have you checked EGTs? Beaten to it!

Yeah anything over 1.1 bar on most ceramic turbos and its just a matter of time! R34s are prone to spitting turbines at anything over 1 bar.

Nah! once you grasp the basic concept, its all up hill from there:)

Buy yourself a FC Datalogit and a wideband set up and map it yourself, its not rocket science, the power FC comes with a base map for the Supra to get you started.

Must admit that i was slightly disappointed with the quote i had from Sky! it was for J speck with basic mods, kit and wheels, now i'm an old fart and held a license for ages, max NCB i do keep the car on the road, but have CCTV, and i don't live in a high rated area, and from what i remember they came back with £560 odd fully comp with all the trimmings, now i have seen people who are younger get quotes of £430 with the same type of deal? so i sent the guy on here an email asking for an idea of why, but never received a reply!? they where marched by Adrian Flux, but i think there was one detail difference on the policy!

Best way to find out is to run a full time wideband set up with data logging, and possibly EGT gauge, as i'm like Wez, a bit of a compulsive fiddler:) with the car before you all start taking the piss.

If your changing from one type of free flow exhaust to another with no change in pipe size or removing a cat, it won't make enough difference to warrant a remap.

Looks like it could be Nissan 350Z gold, but i suspect its one of the House of Colour Candy's.
