  1. This is alway very confusing! i always thought being logical about it, std Supra wheels have a + offset of 50 presuming this is in mm! so it has a +distance of 50mm added to the centre line measurement, so if if you try a wheel with a + offset of 30mm it will sit 20mm farther in from the wheel arch! if it was a - offset it would be the reverse!
  2. I have always found that the injector correction feature quite good on the emanage, you can always tweak the % change to get the fuelling closer, as for you other problem i encountered a similar problem when i changed over to Apex Power FC with higher lift cams! the thing i find odd about your problem is the your boost/vacume is not showing the odd drop your getting! from idle you open the throttle the engine takes more air, but what usually happens is you get more vacume before the airflow catches up, so you see a dip in the map sensor voltage and then it rises again, this is quite often the case when installing high lift cams, as they demand more air so the fuelling needs to be tweaked or you get an unsteady idle! Your AFR seems well out can't understand why the ECU is not pulling the fuelling back to stoic? unless you have to much fuel correction dialed in and the ECU cannot cope!
  3. Just wondering should i end up getting an auto TT just how much difference to the general driveability a decat will make? any improvement to pick up? or will the torque converter still make it feel a bit laggy/ and will it still need to be floored to make real quick progress?
  4. Sounds like you lot watch to many Star wars movies:p
  5. Nosy buggers:p i just made a cock up!
  6. My main concerns where how long has it been run like that and how high the boost was set! as it was an import, will have to take another look now i know how to check the boost controller set up.
  7. Trying to think what other possible detrimental effects it would have other than turbo wear, possible high EGTs, detonation:( ? and also can boost be raised much with cats still in place? looked at a car that was running EVC4!
  8. How about getting hold of an old type Apexi or HKS injector controller/driver they seem to go quite cheap on Ebay? i swaped over to PFC and stll kept my emanage as water injector driver.
  9. I thought i had pointed out that i use mine for mappable water injection and not fuel.
  10. So whats wrong with the Emanage? i used my sub injector outputs for fully mappable water injection! Why not get some larger injectors etc rather than use additional ones? fuel distribution will be rubbish!
  11. This company,Yuri Auto Japan Limited.?
  12. I know just how you feel! my S14 went this morning:( had to turn away from the misses so she didn't see the tear that was starting to run down my cheek and call me a soft sod! nah she would probably have said " would you be doing that if it was me going off up the road"?
  13. Thanks! i think its a natural progression if you don't fancy a Skyline;)
  14. Thanks mate:) it was hard to watch it go off with someone else driving, and it sounded loverly which made it worse:( anyway got a couple of manual TT to take a look at next week, so fingers crossed there good.
  15. Well i watched my S14 drive away this morning:( so now the search for a nice Supra begins, hoping to take a look at a couple of manual J spec TT next week:)
  16. Yeah i have already tried one on my S14, but i had a misfire that i couldn't get rid of, something to do with the timing map, but it would still do it even if no adjustments where made, so i got fed up in the end and sent it back to the supplier, Greddy where next to useless:rolleyes: i have my old trusty blue emanage ready to go on my Supra when i find one, but i still fancy an ultimate as they are the next best thing to stand alone at a fraction of the price:) if they work fully;)
  17. So you have an ultimate working on your Supra OK? no problems?
  18. Yes it has;) always as winter approaches and lasts until March! and its usually people who have not owned RWD cars very long, its just a case of getting used to the driving style, although we can all get caught out by a bit of ice or diesel!
  19. If its been done for a big single and bigger injectors, it should be close ish, so keep an eye on the AFR and just play it safe.
  20. Sorry i presumed that you would map it yourself? if not then forget my last post, and go with johnk s advice!
  21. I don't know what fueling is on the std ECU so it will be an educated guess, just make sure you are seeing 14.7 (you won't have a choice in closed loop mode) not sure where this mode stops on the Supra, but on my S14 its about 3,50RPM or 0 PSI, the to be safe, aim for a progressively richer AFR, as you come on boost/load as long as you are seeing 11.5 AFR by 10PSI and possibly 11.AFR by 15PSI you should be fairly safe, just be careful and keep an eye on the AFR and listen for any det, be able to tell you more once i find a good Supra to play with;)
  22. I brought one of these, not cheap but dam good, will run four thermocouples so you can use it for EGT, oil temp, water temp, charge temp etc, it also has it own built in data logger:cool: http://redlinegauges.com/product_info.php?cPath=15&products_id=31&dfwtekid=ac6b6225dff1c7b20781f71e7b957472
