Not intentionally. Hope he finishes the work soon - there's now a 1/4 mile stretch of mud 2" deep, round an uphill bend that I slide over as soon as I look at the throttle (even without my big boots on).

It's even worse now, the farmer's excavating one of his fields. My road is now 2" deep in mud - just slid nearly 90 degrees, full opp lock, for about 20 yards down the road! Anyone know if I can get a good set of knobblies for the rear end? Full Revs Animal

Just seen it. It's what every critic's been bitchin' for since Menace came out. From the start it just pummels you with action, laser blasts, angst & slaughter on a truly evil scale. They said Empire was a dark film - it's a million times brighter compared to Revenge of the Sith. All through the film you see the technology advancing towards that seen in A New Hope including a few brief scenes on board the Tantive IV (from the opening of ANH) all really tying the 6 films together. My mate's just painted a set of GSX-R wheels in a hologram-flake; like very fine metalflake, but rainbow colours. It's a clear coat, so will go over anything. Seriously cool paint. Otherwise, I'd probably choose metallic as metalflake is just a bit too 70's (even for me), but it's hard to say without seeing samples.

No, but at 70mpg, I wasn't complaining. If you ever want to piss one off though, pull in front of one on the motorway and drop to around 84mph - they have a top speed of 87 so have to keep lifting off the throttle 'cos they can't quite overtake you. Really used to annoy me as I would sit on the motorway with my foot flat to the floor.

I play a Yamaha DTXpress electronic kit, so It's considerably smaller than an acoustic one, but even so, it only just fits and my amp has rubbed 2 little spots off the window tint. If you think that's a squeeze, I had a Smart car before that!

My Supra is currently the only thing I own, so is used all the time. I live about 15 minute drive from my work, so do it in 5 mins in the supra (cows & tractors permitting). I tend to go back to Preston to see mates at the weekend so cover anything from 200 miles Friday to Sunday and I'm a drummer for a local metal band, so the Supra carries my kit & PA to rehearsals/gigs.

If you want to spend 250 quid, get a Sony PSP (the new hand-held Playstation) imported from Japan. They are as near as damn it PS2 quality and will play MP3 audio & MP4 video as well. They run Memory stick Duo cards, currently up to 1Gb. They won't be released over here till September (I think) when they'll be about £180.

Owdo, I've had a Jap MkIV n/a for about a month and took it for it's first proper blat down the M6 today. The damn thing has a speed limiter that kicks in at about 120mph. (The jap speedo stops at 180kph, I was wondering what would happen when I passed it - I hadn't expected this). What's the score? Is it an easy thing to overcome? Any help'd be nice.
