  1. Did it give good heat output the last time you used it? How much do you want for it?
  2. If you can be patient, it's almost always better (money-wise) to keep saving and buy the car you *really* want, instead of buying a stopgap car which you'll want to sell on to upgrade. An auto TT will look and sound just like a manual TT. There's a fair chance it'll actually "go" faster than a manual unless you're good with gear changes.
  3. Potentially interested in the heater matrix (if you'll split it from the rest of the heating system). Is it in good condition (fins intact etc), OEM? Also how old is it and how many miles please?
  4. I know this doesn't help you much but it's down to personal choice and cost. The manual and auto boxes each have their own advantages. Questions to ask yourself are what sort of driving do you do (be as specific as possible) and what do you enjoy about driving? Of course, test-driving both flavours is pretty much required. You might dislike one of them.
  5. Nice one Kayla! What's the job? Sounds peachy.
  6. That surprises me CJ (about working with Macmillan). I don't have much first-hand experience of them but I saw an ad in the paper this morning publicising a duathlon/triathlon to raise money for them. Seemed nicely done but obviously one advert doesn't make a well-run organisation.
  7. On a serious note I wouldn't suggest popping the question in public. IMO it's a private event, and if it's in public the woman can feel under pressure to say Yes even if she doesn't mean it.
  8. Anything from "Bolt Thrower - The 4th Crusade", e.g. "Spearhead". The lead singer's got a really deep voice and sounds like he's been gargling with gravel. It comes with the sort of bass that can jiggle your internal organs.
  9. ^^ Doh, it's supposed to read "Yes thanks CJ". I can't edit posts on this PC unfortunately.
  10. Thanks thanks CJ. It went down very well.
  11. Code 42 is officially a speed sensor error, but the actual problem usually isn't the speed sensor but either a duff odometer or speed converter.
  12. I've had a good look at mine and there's no Toyota part number. No markings at all in fact apart from a small sticker with some anonymous digits on it. HateEvent: does your heater take long to heat up? And it sounds like the heat output is good?
  13. Good units these. Here's how you wire it up.
  14. What about newnet (http://www.newnet.co.uk/)? I have my home broadband with them (which I don't think they offer anymore, purely business now?), and they're OK.
  15. I have a 2nd hand supra heater matrix, but I want to confirm whether it's a genuine Toyota one or not. The matrix looks exactly like the left-hand one in this photo: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=145823&d=1328616146 I've pulled the photo from another thread on here, but it shows a non-genuine matrix on the left compared to a Toyota matrix on the right. So far, it seems like mine is also non-genuine, but is it possible that Toyota re-designed the matrix part-way through the Supra's production to look like the left-hand one (e.g. less rows)? Does anyone on here know, or know how to find out with some degree of certainty? I would ask a Toyota dealer but they tend to be franchises these days with no access to obscure parts unless they're paid for. The reason for my question is that I want to change the matrix in my car, but due to the difficulty of this job I want to be 100% happy with what I'll be fitting. I only intend to do it once! Thanks in advance.
  16. Another vote here for code 42. Code 42 isn't at all serious, and it would be fine to keep driving it. It's still a good idea to get it sorted out though.
  17. Old school cars (1980s and earlier) had loads of room in their engine bays: you could have a party in a 1980s Ford engine bay. Not so these days!
  18. PS not just for the OP but in generalm, what's the obsession with having the account deleted when people don't want to participate anymore? These accounts won't bite you, they won't stalk you down after 15 years wanting revenge.
  19. Assuming this isn't a spoof of recent similar threads, you don't need the account to be deleted do you? Just set your account not to email you about anything, and just don't log on. Simples.

    New Top gear

PS I've no idea what you're talking about: this "foreplay", never heard of it.

    New Top gear

Bangers I can understand but if the female genitalia looks like mashed potato, it probably needs some medical attention.
  22. You're correct about code 42. That can be safely ignored for the time being.
