As said above to drive an auto on the track you need very good brakes and I mean good brakes, as you do not have the luxury of engine braking as with a manual.

Still trying to sort the problem. Can any suspension expert tell me wheather I should be able to push the damper rod in with a bit of force by hand. Cheers

Thanks for the replies. Took out all the pads today and checked all the caliper,they are all fine. The problem was the offside front strut. Looks like some bushes have perished. Will dismantle the strut this weekend. Cheers.

After my track day on Friday I have started getting grinding noise from the front and the viberation is also felt on the brake pedal. The noise is coming only when the car is moving, so that rules out any engine problems. Checked all the springs on the struts and they are all seated perfectly and the noise do not come when you turn the steering when the car is stationary. Jacked all four tyres for bearing failure but they again are perfect no play. Checked the brake pads and are fine and seated. Any help will be much appreciated.

Just did a track day at Abingdon today. After the breifing the heavens opened and the track looked like a river, running water standing water the lot. I have Ferderal FZ 201 on the front and R888 on the rears. The grip was amazing. The car stuck to the track like glue over standing water and running water. As said be careful at the braking zones. -

If it is petrol and 1/5 scale you like then Losi 5ive T 4WD is the hottest thing around. Expensive at £1000.00 or there abouts.

Yes the two gaitors are not the same. One is longer than the other. Passenger side Y 45535 - 14070 Driver side Y 45535 - 24030 About £20.00 each from Steve Manley.

Anyone Tried Federal Motorsports FZ-201 road legal track tyres?

Looking to have them on the fronts this year. They are 10% more expensive than the R888's. My nephew has them on his Cupra and their life span is much better than the R888's and they do not get very hot even after 40 min session at Brands Hatch. -
