  1. There is no need to change the motor if it is working fine, just the regulator. About £60.00 +vat +postage from Steve Manley.
  2. Whenever my VSV go faulty I go for new ones, otherwise you will not diagnose the problem properly. They go about £80.00 and you can get them from Steve Manley. As they are ordered from Japan it takes about 2 weeks to deliver.
  3. Will let you know when I get it, otherwise £7.00 to the Charity.
  4. Just ordered one for the fun of it . You never know it might turn out to be very good at £ 7.00 Although many tracks don't allow window mounted camcorders.
  5. We run 32 psi on 17inches. As has been mentioned the pressure will rise during the day.
  6. I hate to offend anyone, so apologies in advance, but I would't put those seats even if someone paid me to put them in my car.
  7. I can only speak for myself. I bought Bomex lip from this seller and the fit was perfect and good quality. In fact the third car in their advert is mine. It came well wrapped and the delivery was fast.
  8. Get a new one. I got mine both left and right side for £58.98 each plus VAT and P&P from Steve Manley. Part no. Y69801-14111 Y69802- 14111 Afraid don't know which no is right or left. Give Steve a ring.
  9. As we are on the subject of insurance on track days, a few years ago I thought it was not necessary as driving standards on the track was very good. But things are different these days as you will find 40% of the drivers are complete idiots and hence insurance is a good idea. I did track day on 21 August at Castle Combes and the driving standard was appalling to say the least. As most of the marshals were OAP's and they dozed at their posts, and it was only when I threatened to sue Track Days for putting my life in danger that 2 cars were black flagged and banned for the rest of the day. What is more amazing is that these idiots are not the Nova boys as used to be the case but people driving Nissan GTR,Ferraris and Caterhams.
  10. We are also looking for one too. Just makes the Supra more desirable.
  11. That is the main thing, to go on the track and have fun, drive within your and the car's limit. Overtake the cars that you can and let others who are faster (stripped out Starlets & Novas) overtake you. At Abingdon a Porsche tried to keep up with me when he could not and nearly rolled his toy. Remember you are not allowed to race on trackdays. Go out on the track and have fun.
  12. You will find that not many owners of Supra take the car to track days for many reasons. The track days we attend most of the time our's is the only Supra in attendance. The Supra is not an ideal track day car mainly because it weighs almost as much as a pregnant whale.(try lifting the air con compressor) Unless the car is stripped out completely you will find lighter cars will mug you in the sharp corners. Secondly if something goes wrong it costs a fortune to fix it where as if say a track prepared Vauxhall Nova was to break anything it as cheap as chips to fix it. We will be at Castle Coombes on 21 August lets hope there will other Supras beside ours.
  13. This is for people who spend a fortune on big brake kits. Yesterday I was at Abingdon for the track day and my UK Brake setup with CW fast road pads, Castrol RBf 600 BF and braided lines put to shame quite a few AP and Brembos on light Elises and Caterhams in the late braking department.

    Polishing service

I have a plenum ready to be polished.
  16. I got mine from GAT radiators in Brierley Hill, West Midlands. 01384 484104 Part no. TO 2346 £135.60 + VAT and P&P
  17. GSD3s no doubt. Before I put R888, Goodyears were the tyres I did my track days with and they are not only excellent for road use but also very good on the track up to novice standard. R888 are basically for track days on dry surface.
  18. I will have a pair. Your pay-pal address please.
  19. I got mine from GAT radiators in Brierley Hill, West Midlands. 01384 484104. Two years ago it was £130.00 inclusive of VAT. The price might have gone up, exactly the same as OEM which is about £400.00 from MR. T
  20. Thanks for the info. In my experience any tyre that is good for dry and wet will always be a compromise. Have been using R888 for some time. The problem is, you boot up your car with R888 on the track day and British weather being what it is it's raining or damp and the 888 are no good in the wet. So you carry 4 spare tyres. That was the main reason for buying R1-R and I think I will find that they are slightly better than the Good Year F1 Eagles for which I have great respect as they are great tyres on the track wet or dry. Of course on a dry track R888 are fantastic.
  21. I will be buying a full set of Toyo R1-R Tyre in 17" mounted on OEM rims for our trackdays. Has any member had any experience with them. Cheers.
  22. Aux Belt - T90916-02309 Cam Cover Gasket - T11213-46020 T11214-46011 Washers -T90210-07001 Timing Belt- ???????
  23. Found this photo with a sort of bolt to fix the baffler. Frankly with one cat in the Dragger does not need this ugly thing. Spoils the whole look of the tailpipe.
