  1. I see quite a few of all of the above cars, and have driven them all. Next to my garage is a bakery, which the owner has just bought a white, 3.0TDI Q7 S-Line. Brand spanking new, in white with 21" black wheels! The 3.0 is a good solid engine, seen it for many years is all the other cars Audi do (A6 etc), never had to do much more than routine servicing etc. Although cambelts are someting else! They need a computer to adjust the injector pump timing as it's impossible by eye. He had a 4.6 V8 X5 before. Went like stink but really dated now. Personal opinion.. I think you made the right choice, Jurgen. Yes, you can get a 7 seater ML but they suffer gearbox issues. Don't think BMW do a 7 seater X5. I really do like the Volvo XC90. But overall, money no object, the Q7 is a far superior, better looking car. His Q7 has the screen, so when you reverse shows you where the car is going and as you turn the wheel shows you where you will end up! Yes it's a big car but if the misses is careful she'll be fine with it. So, all thats left to be said is what toys has it got???
  2. If you are still interested I have a complete ABS setup I can do at a very good price! But as everyone has said, there must be a issue with your brakes already if your locking up that easy. Everyone is different in their tyre choice, top of my list is Michelin Pilot Sport, even in the wet with over 400 ponies I had to really force it to let go. On the other hand, I originally had Continental SportContacts and they were terrible. I could get it to wheel spin just lifting the clutch. And in 3rd at 60ish would pour smoke off the rears if I floored it.
  3. Happy Birthday dude, Have a good day.
  4. Doing it now! got a message up on the screen saying it may take up to 10 mins. Does it matter that it's not plugged into the phone line though? Sorry to go off topic Col!
  5. I have both a freesat box (in the bedroom) and a sky+ box in the kitchen. The sky box is as you were mentioning, without a card. The number of channels on it is minimal. We didn't even get ITV1 on there until I programmed the channel in manually. It doesn't do channels live Dave etc. Literally, 1-5, ITV 2, 3, 4 etc, the BBC channels and thats pretty much it No HD channels. The freesat has a bigger choice, and would have the free HD channels if I'd got the HD box. Still thinking about getting one! If you are still interested in a freesat box i'm sure we could come to a good deal for the one I got now, good excuse for me to go get an HD one. Also, the one I have was from Argos, and cost £30. The HD version was £70 I think.
  6. I'd be interested in the rest if the price is right if you wanted to sell the wired controller seperatly. What are 360's worth?
  7. My boss' son has a cup, basically, the cup version is the complete stripped down bare model, no air con, no sunroof, no spare tire etc.. Good little car, reasonably reliable. quite nippy. Servicing wise, same as any other 16v clio really, slightly different. He is looking to sell his very soon too and got offered next to nothing P/X against a AMG55 SLK!
  8. Ah so my question was not too stupid then, well if it is i'm as stupid as Josh!
  9. Oh sorry! I've been to work today so haven't had time to check every thread 24 hours a day! Forum Stalker
  10. Oh my god, I thought that was pretty cool when I first saw it in that kids room, then it came out the room and, well won't give it away. Thats amazing. Must have cost massive $$$$ though. Soooo cool!
  11. Tell me if i'm being stupid, but is it not possible to mod a stock bonnet to take the bulge of the do-luck? Is in not possible to cut the middle out and mate it onto a stock? Sorry if it's a dumb question, I know nothing of bodywork!
  12. You sure it's oil? You checked your coolant level? The heater matrix pipes are at the back of the engine.
  13. If I remember correctly, I believe Panasonic bought out Pioneer and now use their (Pioneer) know how to make the best TV's. So a Panasonic is actually a Pioneer. Plasma is better for gaming as they generally have a much lower lag. As for the 100Hz-600Hz business, every review I read when I got mine basically said turn it off! They say it loses quality. Personally, I think the best thing is to go into a shop and look for yourself rather than go by other peoples views/reviews. Then by all means order online cheaper! But if your looking at TV's that large then you better make sure you've got a good signal quality as it'll be well blocky if your close to it.
  14. That wouldn't have been a silver one by any chance? Saw a kitted silver one pass my work this afternoon... Just crossing the level crossing in Bramley..
  15. Same here, Chocolate one for me, made with milk not water. Sooooo nice!
  16. There are mobile people that can do it. If you care for the environment then you could call one out!
  17. Then being as I'm a qualified air con person then I can't comment on what you do next but you don't need any special tools to get it out.
  18. You need to take it to someone dude, it's illegal to do it if your not qualified and registered to do it!
  19. Happy Birthday mate. Have a good day.
  20. You wouldn't have that problem with Windows Phone 7
  21. I don't have any pictures here but my brother in law had the car in a certain Mr P's avatar! A old lady put it up for sale after her husband died, It was in as new condition old X reg, still on original tyres, the lot. The old lady said it had never got wet and only has something like 12k on the clock. I think it was a 5.7 V8 turbo? It had the Gold Eagle(??) on the bonnet. Targa top. It had a well cool boost gauge in the bonnet bulge. Well, it was 3 yellow lights that lit up as it came on boost. I'll see if I can get some pictures of it.
  22. Happy Birthday dude. Enjoy your evening!
  23. Have to agree, it is ever so slightly too wide. I think a 4" screen would have been better. Also agree it does feel very plastic but to be honest it's only really the iPhones that have a 'good, solid' feel to them. Pretty much every other phone manufacturer is more interested in weights etc. So, after all this, does anyone see a near future for the iPhone 5 then?
  24. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-15174883 52 seconds in..... Look how long it takes from that dude to press the home button to the phone doing it! Galaxy S2 does it instant!
