Got a complete NA engine sat in the neighbours shed that needs gone, so i'll let it go for £50 if someone come and collects ASAP. It is complete, with manifolds, dizzy, leads etc, no loom though. Came out a perfectly good running car (Ed Morris was the previous owner) Someone please come take it! Bargain

1.9 diesel? Normally on a small plate, front of the block near flywheel, mid height. Well hidden!

When you say the engine cuts out at 3250rpm does it physically cut out or is it just the throttle has no response with the engine still running?

Good question. I've transfered a couple of times and when i've taken my plate off i've got the original one back both times. Same with everyone I've known to do it as well. Don't think there are any plus/minus points as to what you get back on the car when you remove yours, although a HPI check should show its had different plates on/off.

I got mine unlocked from O2, for free, took a day or two and a message popped up on the screen to say it was done!

Ed Morris has the nicest interior i've seen in a Supra. Have you checked all the little vaccum pipes? Had one just last week that had similar issues, Found a tiny pin hole in one of the rubber pipes.

As said above, take it somewhere where they know what they are actually testing. Take it back and ask the tester to show you where it says 2JZ-GE on the emissions database. There isn't, so he must have put it down as a GTE. The correct way would be for it to fail the first BETS test then go into the database, as a non listed car, therefore default values. CO% 3.5 HC1200PPM... Go back and slap that tester and demand a free retest or if you are anywhere near Basingstoke bring it to me and i'll do if for you!
