  1. There's no legal standpoint unfortunately, unless you have receipts, or otherwise want to go to small claims court and attempt to prove Lyndsey had ownership somehow. We used to give dogs out before donations had been paid, they'd signed contracts to say the dog legally belongs to Huskies in Need for the rest of it's life etc. but when people didn't pay and we tried to pressure them to either pay or give the dog back, we've discovered that we'd have to take them to court at high cost and hope we win - which isn't guaranteed! So with no paperwork at all I doubt you'd have any chance really. Needless to say we have to be really strict now and get donations from people before dogs go out. On that note, why not just adopt another dog from rescue for the granddaughter?
  2. I thought that evolved into leetspeak? Which is obviously cool.
  3. Most phones now have qwerty keyboards, and tend to spell check away from txt spk, I doubt that's enough to quash the growing trend though. They've had a few news stories recently about illiteracy and needing to teach older children how to write cos day spel fings ferneticly.
  4. For ABS etc. they basically check that the warning light comes on the dash when you turn the ignition on, then check that it goes out once the engine is running - either of these things don't happen it fails. Not sure why removal of seats would be a fail? As long as all fixings and seatbelts are removed as well.
  5. Yeah I'm contemplating a brand new one. The Huoniao HN125 is pretty good it seems, has an owners club, easy parts supply etc. I'm not keen on the style though. I don't mind the Vixen but it looks like a girls bike in pictures, maybe I need to see one.
  6. So my budget is up to around £900 now, since I can't find anything other than second hand Chinese bikes.
  7. Guesses for the podium tomorrow? 1. L.Hamilton 2. J.Button 3. R.Grosjean
  8. How many of the 'actual Supras' were big single? If any? There was a thread on here with that gold one for sale for like £60k, it had been resprayed as it was the orange Supra underneath, was definitely an NA with a fake picture on the bonnet to mimic clear perspex bonnet window!
  9. Do planks of wood create lift? Oh you don't create lift on a treadmill.
  10. It's only the concept of MPH and what exactly that means she doesn't get, she seems to be locked in some weird place in her head where she can't grasp a concept. However, she managed to get to an answer of 58 minutes by calculating her running speed and the number of tyre revolutions per mile, that's a damn site better than I can do - she's a GENIUS!!
  11. Someone did, now they're trying to sell it. Hang on though, the nearside headlight hasn't been changed by the looks of it. Paul Brown: http://www.paulbrowncars.co.uk/admin/uploaded_photos/45_27_big Gumtree: http://is03.thegumtree.com/image/extrabig/113757827.jpg Still the same unit, so can't have been that bad a front end smash. Why were both side wings changed? Unless it's just a REALLY bad attempt at blending the wings into the new bumper.
  12. I'm assuming it's going to be single though? Aerotop or not it needs to be quick. Imagine having an NA kitted out like that and one day pulling up next to a black Ferrari F355 at a set of lights!
  13. He'll be checking every thread to make sure he's top!
  14. Naa got to be the original, everyone hates the gold Supra, it gets wrecked straight away, and the guy driving it is a plum. Orange Sup all the way.
  15. In the "Replies / Views" column on the forum (Supra Chat in this case), click the number relating to total replies - it doesn't look like a link but it is.
  16. Same. You've done it before, why not go all out this time, make every detail as right as you can, and I mean study the video showing any parts of the engine/interior etc. and copy it.

    HID Kit.

4300K is OEM, It's the colour you'll see on Audis and Mercs etc.
  20. I agree. Apart from the last 2 mins ish.

    HID Kit.

That's confusing. Sidelight - Dipped beam - Main beam. So dipped beam HIDs, I think when you flash the main beam the dipped beam has to stay on? That's a rule for the MOT I think, or is it that sidelights have to stay on when dipped beams are on? Not sure what the Supra does in that respect. For Main beam as Pulley said you need special HIDs, normal ones take about 4-5 seconds to heat up are no good for main beams.

    HID Kit.

Officially it's not, but I've heard from at least 2 sources that say their MOT testing friends would fail them, as they've read the regulation changes wrongly. It states in a Matters of Testing magazine that it should fail if the car doesn't have ALL the same things as a car with HIDs as standard, but this is an opinion of the editors, not official word from VOSA. MOT stations should actually be looking to the MOT Inspection Manual for Reasons for Rejection, where it clearly states 'if fitted' or words to that effect.

    HID Kit.

It's the same as almost all other MOT rules; must work if fitted.
