Except it's a completely different car next year!! I agree I think LH is a better driver, but he takes more risks and with people using less pitstops and trying to save tyres, his driving style will need to calm down if he wants to keep up (unless he goes for the usual plan of getting a 20 second lead within 10 laps and then having another pitstop to replace his shreds of rubber).

Like I said before surely it's changed anyway because they've seen it? Is it Heisenberg or Schroedinger or someone who said that measuring something changes the value of it making the measurement useless? I know that was quantum theory but maybe there's a Heisenberg equivalent temporal uncertainty principle!! Basically if you saw a flashforward, what would you be doing on the morning of the day you saw? Would you be thinking of anything else other than that time arriving? You may be trying to make it happen but there sure as hell would be plenty of people making sure they were nowhere near that place at that time!! It's pretty obvious that it's changeable unless there's some hidden force (like the Lost fate thing) forcing you into place or otherwise forcing something as similar as possible to happen.

I don't think it's an Americanism though, the same as people saying 'literally' as an exageration, like: "I literally died when I saw it.".

That one happens on here quite a lot too, I think it's just general stupidity not necessarily Americalers.

I think they're following the idea of adding more questions than they answer each week. We found out it was Lloyd and Simon who did the experiment that caused it though (or they think they did), and with Simon being a scientist dude and talking about quantum mechanics to that woman I'm guessing it'll be something to do with quantum theory.

I got half of it then work people started talking at me and I got confused. I'd love to learn more about Quantum Mechanics, such weirdness to get my head around (I loved doing non euclidean geometry in my pure maths course).

In this case though, it obviously was a fattist attack based on the comments made before the attack, but I'm sure there are a lot of cases where some brainless idiot beats someone up for no reason at all and the victim is left wondering why - they will then think "Is it cos I is fat?", or "Is it cos I is blue eyed?" etc. which obviously stirs up the media to run with that story. We are becoming much too 'ist'-ist now.

Sorry, Imi, didn't mean it to sound like that. It was more a question than a statement as I've got LOTS to learn about all religions but more Islam than any. I've got the impression before that Muslims get more 'tetchy' about using their lords name in vain as it were, maybe that's more crap from media in my head I don't know but from stories like this it seems that some Muslims feel the same way. Was this just a discussion about who was the creator/disciple/dogsbody in the story? And it sounds like the Muslim involved got offended by the Christians views on it but not vice versa?
