Someone told me you won't get served if you're in the shop with someone who doesn't have ID? So if I get asked for ID and the missus doesn't have hers on her they won't serve me? Anyone experienced this? Did you punch them in the head?

I bought 2 packs of Starburst for 80p on my card the other day.

Sunday drivers and people that actually stop at roundabouts even though there's a massive gap! People that park their trolley across the isle looking at a shelf, seemeingly with no peripheral vision whatsoever.

Aww that's so sad, it's true what people are saying there is very often a way out and people do jump straight into the PTS option too readily in these situations. Having said that none of us were there, none of us know the dog at the time, none of us know the situation - when I say none I mean not even the OP!! This is 3rd hand info we're getting so lay off, it's a sad time losing a pet no matter what the situation. We need a soap box sale on this forum sometimes.

Well I got my shoes, I'm a severe over-pronator as I thought. They gave me some nice looking trail runners by Brooks. Did a bit of a jog this morning with the dog but need to get into some proper running on my own really. Father in law did a 1h32m at the great south run as well.

Nice one PJ, my father in law was supposed to be running tomorrow but they've had a family emergency and he probably won't be now. I think he was doing it for guide dogs. I'll try to get into Alexandra tomorrow if I can as the missus will probably be with her dad, and it should be pretty quiet in there with everyone at the run.

If there's no malicious intent then what's the problem? It's just admitting that you're different and have different views, and that makes him uncomfortable. I have to say I feel uncomfortable around mentally disabled people, because I don't understand enough to know what reactions I can expect and how to act etc. So I distance myself from them whenever possible. I'm not horrible to them, I don't hate them, I don't feel sorry for them or ignore their disability particularly, I just feel uncomfortable. People think that makes me an arse and that I'm really discriminatory - maybe by the definition I am discriminating but I don't go around picketing with banners saying "Autism out" and "Down with Downs" so what's the problem? IMO some of the people (like on this thread) who are considered racist for their views, are much better people than those who rant and rave and protest about people like NG being allowed to speak on a TV programme.

So it's not really that bad (1 at least ), you're just admitting that we're different, why get so uptight about racists.

I'm saying that's how the BNP should look at it. People should assume my posts don't include any of my own opinions (I usually put IMO if they do), but I'm good at fighting on people's side even if I don't agree with them (hence my bad rep on here). How do MI6 check that you're 3 generations British before letting you join? Why not use that as a rule? Cap the number of people who are not 3rd gen Brits under MI6 rules (whatever they may be) and send the rest packing - I think they'd do better with this kind of policy rather than 'no blacks' and 'only 17,000 year old people allowed'. Also, Jack Straw saying we can't cap the population at 65m because that would mean capping how many children people can have. So? Do that then! Look where China are now, they're forced to wipe out their babies because of overcrowding. Why not give everyone the right to have 0.75 children, so a couple can have 1 child and either buy or sell their right to a 2nd child (poor familes get money to bring up their kid, rich families have proven they can support 2 kids), the average child per household then sticks at 1.5 and the population slowly drops.

I saw the girl with the boobs, she was quite fit, I couldn't say anything though cos the missus was sitting next to me. As for the show, I thought it was the usual emotionally backed attacks resulting from a disagreement with a relatively extreme viewpoint, giving the defendant no chance to explain himself. That's not to say I agree with any of it myself but I wouldn't dare ask a question to someone and then go "Booo, RUBBISH... groan... etc" as soon as they started talking - and the bloke that said "Dick Griffin... I mean Nick Griffin...." Oh yes how mature are you! As for NG, what a plonker, he didn't do himself any favours in answering the questions, maybe he knew it was a losing battle to start with and just didn't want to bother pointing out that YouTube videos can hardly be used as proof of anything! David Dimbleby is a tw4t as well, surely they should get a better host than that on such a show. I still don't get the BNP, I kind of thought at one point they were all for British citizens, ie: if you open your passport and it says 'Nationality: British' (black, white, Muslim, Martian, whatever) then cool, if not then you're an immigrant and should follow whatever immigration rules they set out. But then they come up saying you have to have lived here for 17,000 years to be called British - well that's ALL of us out then. I think I might just 'change my mind' on that one.
